It is good as it can be used anywhere, eg when the baby is in the car. Many other breathing monitors can only be used in a cot.
However, the alarm is very quiet and could ... ...Also, the monitor is quite sensitive and has to be positioned correctly or else the alarm goes off. Sometimes the alarm can cause irritation to the skin if the nappy is too tight.
Overall, this is a good product for giving an anxious parent peace of mind but it is pricey and has too many false alarms. ...
