Advantages Nice hobby with some freebies or cash thrown in if you like spying.
Disadvantages Lot of work for little or nothing in return, poor treatment of shoppers.
The ins and outs of mystery shopping are already covered on this site, so I'll just keep to the basics of my experience with Retail Eyes.
I was wary at first but after checking out reviews and using them, it is safe to say that they are genuine. An offshoot from its American big brother, it offers perhaps the best and most user friendly online interface. The software seems ideally written for the purpose of managing Mystery Shoppers and Retail Eyes' Clients.Compared to other mystery shopper enlisters, Retail Eyes has the easiest website to use, from the point of view of reviewing assignments available, choosing dates, reporting back, to view how much you've earned and most importantly, when you're going to get paid.
