Starcraft: Retribution, then.
Starcraft itself was an excellent game, made further amazing by the release of the Brood War expansion set. But what, I hear you ask, is Retribution?

So yes, Retribution does exist. Yes, it sucks. So don't bother.

I am now going to fill out the bottom options based on what I have learnt from the reviews that I have read around the Internet. It's really unfair to grade it on most of the options, as the answers would directly relate to Starcraft... so, basically, I want all readers to realise that this is not an opinion of SC, just this crappy ... more

Starcraft itself was an excellent game, made further amazing by the release of the Brood War expansion set. But what, I hear you ask, is Retribution?
Well, it's an add-on. And yes, it's an authorised add-on, but as far as I can tell it isn't available in this country. Here's the lowdown:
Game Features:
30 new single player mission in 3 new Protoss, Terran and Zerg Campaigns 120 new multiplayer maps New heroes with enhanced strengths New digital voices and sound effects Even the most seasoned StarCraft veteran will be put to the test Multiple mission objectives create unprecedented complexity and diversity
Minimum Requirements
COMPUTER IBM and 100% compatibles. OPERATING SYSTEM Windows 95/NT CPU Pentium 90 or higher VIDEO CARD SVGA (direct x compatible) CD-ROM DRIVE 2X for gameplay, 4X for cinematics MEMORY 16MB RAM INPUT DEVICE: Microsoft 100% compatible mouse HARD DRIVE SPACE: 50 Megs
That's the official line, courtesy of WizardWorks Software. The add-on, unlike Starcraft and Brood War, which were developed by the legendary Blizzard, was developed by Stardock.
Although I was unable to get hold of a copy of this title myself, due to it seeming to no longer be in production at all, I have read through the reviews that I have been able to find, and they all have a resounding comment - crap.
Simply put, this is barely even what it seems. Issues such as the "30 new singleplayer missions" can only be accessed by playing a custom game, and selecting the correct map, and playing it on "Use Map Settings". Issues, such as the their being no new music and no cut-scenes, are also extremely annoying.
120 new multiplayer maps are included in the expansion. But that's really it. Theses maps are apparently decent, but nothing special, and I would guess that they are no better than the hundreds of excellent maps available online.
It seems that the single-player missions are quite hard, and are recommended to people who found Starcraft too easy to beat - but these new maps take the "try-it-til-you-get-it-right" approach to tactics in gameplay, which would annoy the Hell out of me...

K? K.
Advantages: SC and BW are the best Disadvantages: If you really want a good game you have to play a LAN game
I am the greatest fan of StarCraft and have never heard of any "Retribution", and it looks as if no one else has either. So I'll Just tell you about StarCraft and BroodWar.
StarCraft takes you down the story of three Species - Terran, Zerg, and Protoss - where you go through the storyline by playing the three campaigns for the different teams.
BroodWar is the Addon pak to StarCraft and gives you 7 new units and three new campaigns carrying on from ...
