Advantages: Good stories and good pictures kids will love them Disadvantages: The book is a bit big
...These are some of the most enduring children’s stories that have been written, as although the first book was written 55 years ago they are still popular. For me the one thing that makes the stories is the artwork as the quality of it is rarely seen in modern children’s books. Advantages: Lots of stories that should keep any Thomas fan going for quite a while! Disadvantages: Big & heavy & if it gets ruined you've lost all of the stories instead of just one.

The book gives you a history of the places in Sodor that are near the six railway lines on this small island and those people who have been prominent in both the history of the railways and in the island itself.
I know I sound like I should don my anorak now, but this small book by the Rev. himself is drawn from the two talks that he gave; one the history of the island and the other on the history of the railways. It is written very...
