    Well half a dozen actually, but I wanted to grab your attention to tell you about this great CD site. 101cd.com stocks an absolutely huge range of CDs. Of course it has all the contemporary stuff that other sites have, but it also has a very comprehensive back catalogue covering every genre. Prices for chart CDs range from 9.00 to about 14.00, but they often have special offers ont hese so you can get them even cheaper. Prices for the older stuff, though, are superb.     As a confessed music addict I am forever seeking the cheap price, the special offer and the speedy delivery. And so I've used many different music retailers and I hope to pass on my experience of 101cd and it is some help if you like me, need music like a heroine addict needs a fix. The first issue I suppose is the question of why I don't just go to HMV. Well I do, an awful lot and when they have a good sale on I often spend hours (cumulatively speaking literally) rummaging through the CDs finding all the bargains.     I really have given 101cd a chance. Several chances, in fact, over the last 3 or 4 years. But I've finally removed them from my Bookmarks after one fiasco too many. Now it has to be said that 101cd has a fantastic range of CDs and DVDs. Basically, if it's not been deleted, it's on their lists. So they may still be worth considering if you can't locate that elusive item anywhere else.     The beginnings of 101cd.com started in a shop in Croydon and now they have got to be one of the best music online shops. They have four departments on their site that sell Music, Videos, Games and Books. The web site itself is very easy to navigate around and you will be sure to find what you are after in no time at all. You can use the search option to find what you are looking for or use the tabs at the top to access each indivual department and browse. Shopping in itself couldn't be easier.     101cd have always serviced me well with my CD needs. I tend to order from either these guys, or Amazon. 101cd have very good deals on chart and new releases. These go for £9.99 which includes p+p. Typically you can expect your order to arrive in around 48 hours. They always have a good budget range for sale, usually these are around the £6-8 mark. You pay p+p on top of these though. As expected you can search by artist, title etc, and look through the whole catalogue. There is very rarely a cd they do not have.     My first love is buying CD's and I buy anything from chart music to obscure 80's and imports. I have tried a few of the online retailers and 101CD seems to be the one that I order from repeatedly. To start with you are faced with a home page that gives you the top 10 chart and budget CD's and loads of links to various other sections. There is also a search box which you can type in the artist you are looking for and it will come up with everything available by that artist including many imports.     As those of you who've read my comments on Amazon.de will know, I'm a fan of an Italian rock group called "I Pooh," so whenever I try out a CD store I always look for Pooh recordings. Well, I have been very pleasantly surprised at the good range of imports available from this British company 101cd.com, and immediately ordered one Japanese import I'd been looking out for. There seems to be plenty of choice. They also offer DVDs & videos, but I haven't investigated any of them yet. This company accepts payments by PayPal, which means I'll soon spend all the dollars I've been earning from my eBay ... more

    I came across this site whilst trying to make a web page on yahoo. It was under the shopping area where you can get airmiles for shopping at some delegated stores. 101cd.com seems a very reasonable site. There is no postage and packing when ordering in the UK and the Top Ten Albums cost from £10.99 to £9.99. There are also some very good buys under the £5.99 catergory, remember p&p is free. They can also get you imports of your favourite band, no need to wait months for them to arrive from abroad.     I was directed to this site from one of those comparison shop sites - so i thought i would see what they were like............ Not bad, i thought as i bought David Grays 'Sell, Sell, Sell' for 10.02 WITH p&p. (someone had stolen it from my CD collection 6 months previously - boo) I must admit, this isn't the most attractive sites i've seen, but with very little advertising (from what i noticed anyway!) it's very easy to get around without clicking on something you didn't want.     I was looking round on the net to buy the coldplay album one cold and windy day because i couldnt be bothered to go out. I took the traditional path down to amazon.co.uk and had a look round there but in a flash of insparation i thought why not try something else. The only other one I had heard of was 101cd.com. I cant figure out why i didnt try it before. Allthough the site isnt as big as its american rival, its british charm more than makes up for it.
