...recently with Andy Kirby of 1st Attempt Driver Training. He is an excellent instructor, very patient and explains things well, with a good sense of humour. Lessons are not overly expensive - the going rate at £21 an hour (currently).
Definitely well worth a look at this school (having experienced about 5 driving schools and 7 different instructors, I know what I'm talking about.). I was quite nervous when I started learning with 1st Attempt, but ... ...I am currently doing with them as they are so good !
First Attempt do more than just teach you to pass the driving test, they teach you the skills necessary for good and safe driving for life.

Quick review of 1st Attempt Driver Training, Sutton
I had no confidence and had tried lots of instructors over many years with no success but then found First Attempt and Andy Kirby. He helped me overcome my chronic nerves, was patient and humourous and used methods that meant the learning made sense and really went in.I passed my test last week and I could not thank him enough. If you want to learn from a true expert, then go to Andy at First Attempt.Lessons are very reasonable at £21 and scheduling is very flexible. Andy is a great instructor and I cannot recommend him highly enough. ...
