    Advantages Advantages Cheapest I found, free door collection. Fast pass - No time wasting.

    Well I started my driving tuition with 1st time because it was the cheapest I could find in the area. The first 4 lessons were only £60 and I even did a small amount of driving in lesson 1. The car was a new diesel corsa, which was a gem to drive. Only stalled it once. The instructor was flexible but wasn't fully qualified (ie trainee instructor). However the quality of the teaching was good. He was a bit too enthusiastic, and got frustrated sometimes, possibly because he realised my potential, and I changed to Dave Miller after 8 lessons.     Before starting with Steve (of 1st Time School of Motoring) I had already lost time and money with one of Dave Miller's instructors. I was quite upset and depressed and was looking for someone who I could trust and rely upon. One of my colleagues talked very high about Steve and gave me his number. That's where I came to know him. In a nut shell, my experience with Steve is second to none. I found him very friendly and very experienced. I liked his way of giving "friendly" training and the way he made me feel confident.     Definitely one of the cheapest in Dartford. They do the 1st 4 for £60 which is good and you get a full hour lesson, as opposed to the 50 minutes I was getting before. I learnt more in one lesson than I did the 18 I had with the other schools. My instructor seemed a genuine sort of bloke who was keen to get me through my test as opposed to just taking my money every week. Can't believe how different the quality of the teaching was.     I had steve as my instructor, was great person to deal with. Gave me the confidence to progress quickly But at a pace that was right for me. I have been passed for 3 weeks now and i feel great even after my test i dont feel nervous driving. I get into pickles at times but just keep calm and use what i have been taught and all is well. Passed my test 1st time with 1 minor fault. Broke bad habbits that i had if you are not concentrating would let me know but you need that little reminder at times and to be honest the day of my test helped me keep my calm.     Wen I decided to choose a driving school, I was a bit confused and kind of just said they were all the same. On a stroll around the neighbourhood, I came across a car parked with the logo of '1st Time School of Motoring'. The instructor, Steve gave me details and promised to call him that night. Right from the first day of interaction, Steve showed consistency in being frank, straight forward and thorough.     I am really glad I have chosen 1st Time driving school, read good reviews about this motoring school, so when I gave them a call they where friendly and found a slot for me quite quickly. I passed my practical test without a problem from first time. I’ve gained brilliant driving experience and more confidence (especially when I needed the most - before exam). At the end of each the lessons I was given feedback and techniques on how could I improve my self for next lesson and overall.     A friend recommended Jon Smith from 1st Time School of Motoring and he was great! The Prices were very reasonable, the first 4 lessons were £60.00 and after that, I paid in blocks of 10, which kept the price down a bit more. I took my lessons in a new Vauxhall Corsa which was easy to drive. Jon made me feel at ease when I was learning and was very patient, professional and an overall excellent teacher. Jon was very flexible and if I couldn't make a booked lesson, it was never a problem to reschedule it.     Advantages Advantages Found that 1st time was not only one of the cheapest schools around but one of good quality .

    Disadvantages Disadvantages had to drive a different car on occasion .

    I am pleased to say I found learning to drive with 1st time school of motoring a pleasant experience. Having started with one instuctor who unfortunately left 1st time to pursue another career . I was placed under the instruction of Rob Jary whom I found to be both informative and reassuring .My confidence and understanding of driving grew from lesson to lesson ,The cars in which I was tutored were of good quality and performance and any nerves I may have been feeling were instantly put at ease by the instructors calm and encouraging manner.     Affordable deals to suit all levels. They came to my house each lesson, they used the same car each time, same one i took my test in. My instructor was old school, he made you learn rather than teach you, but it worked. Passed with only four minor faults on the test card. The car was excellent, nothing too complex but always in good order and with all the features one would expect and need. I had a feeling that my instructor wanted me to pass and wasn´t using me as a cash cow, like i had experienced previously with BSM, who tend to be inhuman and see customers as walking bags of cash.     I’ve just passed my practical driving test! My lessons with 1st time have been great. I put special emphasis on my driving instructor Steve however because he IS the best instructor I could have asked for. He delivers his instructions in a clear and concise form which in my case ensured that there were no gaps in my knowledge. His personality helps to loosen up the atmosphere and not to mention his calm and patience which made me feel really relaxed while driving.
