A good machine if you can stand the noise

Advantages: Washes well
Disadvantages: Extremely noisy throughout most of the operation

Advertised as Silent System Whisper Quiet Operation, this is the noisiest washing machine we have ever owned, and we have had several. After first use we complained, and the engineer changed a pump, with no improvement. A second pump of a different type was fitted, with marginal improvement. Engineer said there was nothing more he could do. On complaining to customer services by telephone when the machine was running and droning on through its wash ...
