One of the most welcome features of the AEG HC3360M for me was its quietness. For a hood equipped with three air moving speeds, even at the fastest setting you detect little more than a whisper. I like quiet in my kitchen, and was not aware of the model's low sound capabilities when I purchased it, so when I started playing around with the settings I was very pleasantly surprised. In addition to being audibly agreeable it is also a very fine piece visually.
