all of amd's processor chips provide the same punch just with a differant price tag, so amd's easilly reccomended though the motherboards cost a little more, though the motherboards then have a greater spec, the price is still alot under. the only slight downfall if you require tremedous power is that, amd shows no sign in bringing out a quad core chip as intel has done though amd do have a tremendously high spec dual core chip.

fast simple and easy to use. nothing bogs it down, ever. will encode a video to dvd format quickly and still have power to spare. one-nil to amd for bringing out a processor that actually is the speed it says it is. p.s. can you tell i like amd?

I put this into the first computer i built. It can run vertually anything with ease. I am using windows vista x64 ultimate with it, and i have 4GB ram. recommended to anyone. Been able to play some really high end games without any lagging or stuttering. perfect. it isnt even that expencive compared to some of the intel processors. but deffinatly go for AMD rather than Intel.

An athlon x2 running at 6ghz is quite a monster as it is able to run many programs at one time hence multi tasking which allows you to play games , while burning your DVD. A good processor though compare to the core 2 duo this processor isn't as fast as core 2 duo but still a good processor from its price which is reasonable .

Have you like me ever tried to download, play music and check your emails at the same time. If so you would know the result. 98% of download complete, oh no!!! the computer's crashed. ...lot more demanding,i had an amd athlon 64..then went to dual core with 2mb L2 cache :) , i had a little problem finding a good heatsink to fit am2 socketm but when i did get one the temps were quite nice, the installation instructions are ok, once again as long as you know what you are looking at then youll be fine, i paid £80 for mne.. bargain from overclockers.co.uk, and i urge you to but this if you enjoy playing games whilst not having to turn ...
