ASDA Smartprice Apple Juice

Intro I stopped drinking alcoholic beverages a while back, not totally, but as good as. I therefore now drink either cartons of fruit juice or fizzy pop. I’ve always been very fond of apples and apple flavoured drinks, so on one of my many visits to the local ASDA I picked up yet another nice little bargain. Intro We have recently used a lot of products is ASDA’s Smartprice range and I suppose that in general most of them are on a par or just under the standard of the major branded products. One of the one’s that I like best is the Apple Juice and that is what I shall be reviewing today. Smartprice Apple Juice The large white and green carton contains 1ltr of the apple juice and it usually retails a around 70p, which I believe to be a fair price for this product. I'm not a fan of lots of juice for my toddler and so I like him to have some watered down fruit juice and at the price it is nowadays I decided to try the smartprice brand as an alternative to the pricey alternatives. The simple carton seems to be made of some sort of cardboard/plastic mix which is easy to store. Simply presented in green and white with a picture of an apple on the front makes it easy to identify from other flavours. The carton is easy to open by snipping off the corner and pouring. The 1 litre juice retails for around 56p and the 1.5 litre is just 69p so a really good price ... more
