Advantages Advantages Nice soft material. Buff really well.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Little thin and cheap to buy.

On a visit to Asda I spotted these dusters and decided to buy them. I have a few odds and ends of wooden furniture around my home and recently my friend gave me a wooden ornament which I always commented on in her home. She was having a clear out of some items and offered me the first refusal. The ornament is a kind Budda but she told me she uses polish on a duster to clean it. I had ran out of dusters, so thought best buy a packet. Chose these because they were cheap enough to buy. They come in a transparent plastic bag which is very basic looking a not a fancy designed one. The dusters are a ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cheap

Disadvantages Disadvantages No cling, too thin, doesn't cope with furniture polish.

I don't use dusters very often any more as I tend to find that using the duster 'wipes' gives a better result but there are occasions when I still use a duster and some polish to dust round the living room which needs done at least once a day as I have dark furniture so it shows up the dust more so than lighter furniture would. These dusters are available both online and instore for just 71p for a pack of 5 dusters I thought I may as well give them a go, I had nothing to loose. They came in the regular Smartprice packaging that is green and white on a transparent plastic wrapper. On opening ... more

Advantages Advantages They were cheap when I bought them

Disadvantages Disadvantages They were far too thin and didn't hol the dust well

My house is very dusty and I find this strange as I live alone, I often wonder if it is the cats. The television set especially gets very dusty and I am always finding I am having to dust it down. I bought some of Asda’s own brand dusters and I paid only 71p for them. There were five dusters in the pack and I thought this was a very fair price to pay. I could see them through the plastic and they did look like they were going to be quite good quality. They were the Smart Price range. The dusters were in a deep yellow colour and they had a little stitched red rim around the outside, just like ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Don't work

I hate dust! No matter how much I clean my house, there is always dust forming somewhere or other and it drives me insane. I really wish there was a magical solution for this annoying substance. At Asda, for only 68p you can get a packet of 3 dusters and that works out to 13.6p per duster. The packaging for the dusters is extremely basic but this is to be expected when it comes to the Asda Smart Price brand. The packaging is much like a clear plastic bag with space to rip it open at the top. On the front of the packet is the Smart Price logo and in bold, black lettering ‘5 dusters’. It would ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, good cloth for polishing shoes

Disadvantages Disadvantages Move dust around, nothing slings to the duster

My house is very dusty for some unknown reason and I have to dust a couple of times a week to keep on top of it, needless to say I go through quite a lot of polish and dusters. I was shopping in my local Asda store when I saw that they do a packet of dusters in their Smartprice range, knowing that some of the Smartprice range is actually really good I decided to give these dusters a try to see how they measured up. As the dusters are part of the Smartprice range they are only available to buy from Asda stores, a pack of 5 dusters at the moment costs 71p which seems fantastic value and I’m ... more

Advantages Advantages 5 in a packet

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Useless

One of my pet hates is dust, particularly on the television, I sit there watching something and if it’s dusty, I just can’t enjoy the program unless I dust it. Smartprice dusters For only 71 pence, you can purchase a packet of 5, yes 5, dusters from Asda stores, or online if you do your shopping that way. The dusters come in a transparent plastic bag with the Smartprice green and white logo on the front. The dusters themselves basically look like a normal duster just thinner. They are yellow in colour, with a red trim around the outside. Of course, with basic products, you pretty much know the ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap and do the job intended.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing.

Asda Smart Price Dusters.I buy new dusters at least once every 6 weeks or so and at 71p for 5 dusters I see this as a great price.Packaging ~These Asda Smart Price Dusters are packaged in a very simple clear polythene type bag. There's nothing special about the packaging at all, they are emblazoned with the Smart Price logo and you can see the yellow dusters inside.Opening the pack is very simple, just pull it apart as you would as crisp packet. My thoughts ~At just 14p a duster these are affordable enough to use once or twice and then dispose. I just pick them up every so often when I am doing ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages They Don't Work!

ASDA Smartprice DustersAt 71p these dusters looked like a bargain and, as far as I can remember, I haven't been let down by ASDA smartprice at all yet. You get 5 in a pack and all they promise to do is get rid of dust. They don't look pretty but then they are only 71p!My ExperiencesI normally dust my front room at least every 1-2 days as we have a dog who is moulting and her hair seems to get everywhere! Also, like it does, dust doesn't take long to mount up and I would rather give it a quick wipe every day than have to tackle loads of dust every week! These looked like they would work really ... more
