Good board . it is really stable, good for overclocking.it has FSB 400 so if you put a Sempron 2800+ on it with FSB333 you could teoreticaly bring it to 3360+ but you would need a good cooler.it has a 64 bit DDR400 memory controler wich suports 2gb of memory on two DDR slots. Two ATA133 IDE...

I bought this board when I upgraded my system, I paid around £30-£40 for it and have never looked back in the year since. The graphics onboard are less than great but if you're not going to play games then the graphics would be plenty good enough, I transfered my 128Mb AGP card from the old board...

Cheap, Effective

No PCI-EXPRESS SLOT

The AsRock K7S41GX is a good and stable motherboard for a non-gamer. Gamers need to chose a different card because this ASRock is to slow for the up to date games the processer slot doesnt allow you to put the needed up-to-date hardware in. This is Perfect for Non-Gamers the onboard graphics and...

I bought this Board to replace an ASRock K7SX8E, which had failed. I was considering buying a new system when it went, but for much less I've got my 3½ year old Socket A-based system running like a new computer. The machine boots up a lot faster than it did with the old Board, and together with 1Gb RAM(up to 2.0Gb supported), a 256Mb FX5500 AGP graphics card and an AMD XP2600 processor running at 2.0Ghz, I have a system that is quite capable of handling games like Doom3 as well as it being very fast for general web surfing too. Recommended then ,as a replacement in older systems such as mine, or for building a good-performing budget system.
