...review is of the new asus EEE pc. Its been quite fun using and reviewing this one as its not like your usual laptops, and in many ways its a lot worse however at the end of testing it iv got to say I really like the asus EEE pc and however rubbish it might be I think I will end up buying one if some of the features just improve a little or if the higher spec editions become cheaper.
I'm reviewing the new better version of the EEE pc this time as ... ...on one of these.
The asus eee pc is really small and versatile, its just 225 by 35 by 165mm which really isn't big at all.
Unlike many other pc tablets of this size this one does look exactly like a laptop which is something I really like about it.
It can come in a whole range of different colours however the only one I have used is the white one and is probably the one id get if I was going to buy one.

On my my experience using ASUS Eee PC 901 it produces big amount of heat but performance is still good. But compared to my other notebook which is MSI, Asus 901 produces hotter temperature.ASUS Eee PC 901 The cooling fan is quiet. For the the battery, it is really performing very good under normal use (up to 4 hours and more). The touchpad and with dual buttons are easy and comfortable to use and responsive. During my recent search for a laptop i found this rather smart looking item and decided to check it out. The first thing that struck me was the tiny size. I began to wonder what they could have put inside with it being so small. I was pleasantly suprised to find the new Atom processor running at 1.6ghz. This may sound like a cut down version of other intel processors but it isn't quite that. The eee series is very beautiful if your looking for a easy to use small portable laptop this is the one, the only downside is the linux based system but I now have Xp up and running it cost me an extra 50.00 but is well worth it, this was originally made for kids to encourage homework studies but has not been adopted by the older generation.
This laptop is strictly for internet and studying purposes do not buy if you want to play games or dvds ... ...not got the memory to cope with memory eating software.
It has built in wifi which i was very impressed with its more powerful then the one on my pc.
But all in all this is a very impressive little computer that should not be underestimated with its high speed internet connection ...

In my opinion the asus Eeepc 901 i excellent because it is easy to handy and the weight is only 2.42 lbs and you can bring it in home,office,school and other. ...to nine hours on the asus website but in reality this can only be achieved when all functions of use - bluetooth, wireless internet connection, graphics etc are switched off. All in all an excellent and fun piece of equipment but definitely more suitable for people looking for something to use for fun and basic internet use rather than for work purposes, great for kids in particular as basic office applications work fine and are compatible with Microsoft ...
