Strange and scary support acts, and a lot of waiting
"...we headed for Donington, about a 25 minute drive from where we live.
We arrived in Donington for about 1 o clock, just as the gates opened. As we headed inside the park, I was shocked by how many people were already there. We found ourselves a space on the grass, and sat down in eager anticipation for the first band.

"...areas for Bluegrass music 1. A Marquee in the festival grounds
which is boarded over to stop you sinking in the soil and has plenty of seats and a large standing area to appreciate the music or have a danve if you wish
2. The concert area in the Town Hall - this area has plenty of seats in tiered rows (seating only )
Both Venues have bars with the usual high quality plastic glasses
The Event is run with a family atmosphere and all are welcome ..."
