Acer are now the biggest selling laptop company in England and have even over taken the previous well known laptop manufacturer Dell for its laptop sales. I recently purchased this laptop and I have to say I am very satisfied. Great value for price. The only thing to complain about is the screen, with a max resolution of 1280x800. But don\'t let this resolution worry you if you plan on using the laptop with your HDTV, because I hooked mine up to a monitor and was able to get 1440x900 resolution. It is a bit on the heavy and bulky side, but it runs quiet and somewhat cool. Even in lengthy gaming sessions, the fans are reasonably quiet and the laptop stays at a decent temperature. There\'s also drivers for winXP available on Acer\'s ftp server, if you are one of those people who despise Vista.

The Aspire 5920 is a candidate for the ugliest laptop of the year. It's smeared in enough grey to put British skies to shame, and has had some absolutely awful design touches. But the rest of the laptop is a very good one. It's fast, feature-packed and is excellent value for money.
