Acer Aspire 9301AWSMi

I have recently purchased this laptop with vista preinstalled. For a laptop of this size it is not heavy . There is a built-in camera at the top of the machine but personnally I have not used this. The 17" screen is great to work with , it is very clear and the colours come over vividly. The pixel resolution can go upto 1440 x 900 and supports multi window viewing using acer gridvista. I recently purchased the acer aspire 9301 and so far i have been very impressed with my shiny new gadget. I picked out this model as after trying other ones that were available including the more expensive sony viao i decided that by buying the viao i wouldnt be gaining anything just wasting money on a fashion accesory. The Acer offers everything that you could possibly want and more and comes with a much more modest price tag. I bought this Acer laptop for £500 around a year ago now and so far it has served me well. When I originally took this laptop out of the box, my immediate thought was how light it was for its size. The set-up was quick and easy and was simple to use with the number pad being added onto the side of the standard laptop keyboard, making full use of the extra space the 17" widescreen display gives. At first i was not sure if i should get the AMDX2 core for it and pay the extra £300ish. I finally decided it would be better to buy the single core and if need be, buy a AMDX2 off ebuyer or elsewhere. Its turns out that the single core is way to under rated as it is very fast and can handle multitask quite well. The 17" screen is something special for laptops and i just could not resist it.
