Advantages: graphics and cheap at the price

...supports multi window viewing using acer gridvista. For external displays it has svideo (tv) and VGA port. It also has modem ethernet ports. although it is also wireless. I have had no problems connecting to the internet and can surf very quickly. Advantages: Brilliant Widescreen Display. Excellent Acer "Empowering Technology" program.
Disadvantages: Overheats. Expensive to upgrade Memory.

I bought this Acer laptop for £500 around a year ago now and so far it has served me well. When I originally took this laptop out of the box, my immediate thought was how light it was for its size. The set-up was quick and easy and was simple to use with the number pad being added onto the side of the standard laptop keyboard, making full use of the extra space the 17" widescreen display gives. Disadvantages: The CPU fan vent is on the right so using a USB mouse can get abit "hot"
