Advantages Advantages Looks good, does everything I ask of it, one or two nice unexpected touches.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Usual netbook limitations.

I'm a bit of a label-snob when it comes to computers, sticking to my big-name, big-price brands. As such, I don't know my Acer from my elbow, and like the Asuses, E-machines and MSIs of this world, the name just kind of reminds me of the unfamilair, slightly sinister brands of German sausage lining the shelves of Aldi. Alpenmark Wienerschnitzel, anyone? I know this is horribly, irredeemably wrong of me - but the Aspire One Happy, despite the name sounding like the kind of dubious English that would adorn a bottle of Japanese lubricant, is my path to redemption. I didn't really need a netbook ... more

Advantages Advantages great weight, very aesthetically pleasing, long battery life

Disadvantages Disadvantages keys let in dust and dirt, annoying android technology

This is a great laptop. I needed a small, lightweight laptop to take to school, and the aspire one happy is absolutely perfect. It is one of the smallest and lightest laptops available so far, and it looks great too. After 8 months of carrying the laptop in a bag, sometimes without a case, and after not treating it too carefully, it is still in almost perfect condition, with the paint only slightly chipped on the edges. I would recommend this laptop for anyone who needs to bring it with them everywhere. Also, the battery last long, an average of 6 hours depending on what it is being used for ... more

Advantages Advantages Light, easy to use and fast

Disadvantages Disadvantages As long as you use it for what it is - I don't see any!

I (like most) have the desktop and laptop at home but was looking for something inbetween my blackberry and laptop to take away with me that was lightweight, reliable and easy to use. I hopefully have found just that in this little thing The science bit...... Basically it's so easy to use. There are 2 operating systems (Android and Windows7). If you just want to check mails, look at pics etc - it's takes all of about 10 seconds to be logged in and then easy to transfer to windows (for office package etc) in 30 seconds. It has a easy to use standard/mini key board and weighs 1.1 kg. I got this ... more

So this is my 1st review here so i will try my hardest. I am a get to the point but why trying to tell detail person. PRODUCT BOUGHT acer happy one 1 year ago. Colour pink SPEED I will rate the speed at about a 9/10 when i first got it , the speed amazed me as i thought it wouldnt have been so fast and smooth. at about 6 month it did start to diminish but that would be because i got a virus from an email and also i stopped cleaning it out (ALWAYS defrag and disk clean-up) LOOK , FEEL , PORTABILITY As for the look i would say SUPER CUTE lol. it is really tiny , now i have a normal sized laptop ... more
