Advantages: Small size, easy to transport, quality Disadvantages: price, somwhat difficult to use
This small multifuntion device delivers everything what is promised. 1. MP3and WMA playback
2. USB connection (USB 1.1, it is relatively slow), 128 MB storing device 3. woice recorder (surprisingly good despite the simplicity)
The sound quality is limited by the earphone, that misses the bass. A better quality earphone can help.
There is a single rotating pressing button on the device, that is not easy to use. The legth of the pressing is important. ... ...longer pressing would switch off the device. So as you switch it on (you must press lon time about 2 seconds) if you press it again a litlle bit longer you will switch off the device. So you can be in an infinite loop of on and off.
But if you do not press it long enough nothing will happen. You have to figure out the correct lenght of the pressing, to start playing the music.
The transfer of the files from a computer via USB is easy with Win XP, ...

teleadapt. I just bought this one off ebay. Its a 256 so holds 4 cds of music. voice recording which ive still to try.
when you up load music which is very easy and quick. The songs are played randamley which i think is good. The earphones are very loud.
in the menu it has
music
voice
settings(eq, repeat, lcd contrast, auto off, rec sample, backlight)
delete(deleat files)
memory ifo(how much space left)
record (voice)
return
you can record ... ...this means that you can record address and other important stuff.
plugs straight in to any ubs plug so you can change music any where you are.
When you plug the mp3 in you bring up windows player click on burn cd and change from cd to virtual player which is the mp3 then click on the files you want and transfer them.
when you play music and stop it it starts where you left off. you can hold the keys locked so nothing happens when it gets knocked.
