Since purchasing a travelmate in Singapore almost six years ago I have loved this model. It served me well through university and when I left I bought this new model 2423. They have both been so reliable. Never faulting, always faster than you! They are great machines, built to last!

...it came loose. Returned to Acer (after half hour trying to get through). Came back ten days later with much more major fault - no network connectivity at all. Helpline hopeless - just said do a reset, which achieved nothing except wiped out all installed software. Eventually manged to get it sent back again - I have now spent over £10 on phone calls, and they still have the computer. After 5 weeks without and no indication as when I will get it back ...
