I WANT A BALLOON

Advantages: Nice clothes and friendly staff
Disadvantages: A bit too pricey for me

Now Adams isn`t normally my first choice of shops when buying clothes for my kids, neither is any new shop come to that. I can`t really see the point in buying new clothes for children as they grow out of them so fast and new clothes are just too expensive. This is especially true of my 20 mth old daughter, who has been on one continuous growth spurt since she was born, and is now not far short of my 4 yr old. Doing my usual Tesco shop one day though, ...
...local Adams shop where I spotted the most gorgeous little fairy outfits that you`ve ever seen. Now I just couldn`t resist these for my two daughters, and they`ll make a wonderful christmas present, but I had to act quick though because they were selling like hot cakes. So in I went to check out they had the right sizes and nearly had a heart attack when I spied the price tag. But what the heck, christmas is only once a year, and a bloomin good job ...

...I had a choice of Adams or Ethel Austin’s locally – no contest really! As soon as my local store opened I signed up for their store card, and started reaping the rewards that day with a percentage knocked off my purchases. It wasn’t long before the card arrived and I was surprised to see how many other outlets accepted my new “duet” card. These range from Millets and Partners to JJB Sport and Miss Selfridges, you can even buy tickets for events and ...
...clothes and the trousers from Adams have been among the better ones that I have tried. Up until now that is. Last August saw me buying school uniforms for two totalling six pairs of trousers and six polo tops. The tops are still going strong, the trousers on the other hand have been a disappointment. The first time Matthew wore one pair he ended up coming home in his P.E shorts as the seam had ripped below the zip. My first reaction was to blame ...

A A A ADAMS!!!

Advantages: good quality
Disadvantages: not find it yet

...My experience with Adams started about 4 years ago, when my son has been born. In that time, I was trying every kids shop to find the best one. After buying clothes from different shops, I got to conclusion that the Adams is the best and suits my need. The cloths are very good quality- I never find it any little holes or marks on them. *** My shop situated is in city centre and is very easy to get to it. When I walk in to the shop, I can feel ...
...£35, postage is free. Adams children wear are always of the highest quality, design and fashion ability. They are nearly always 100% cotton and machine washable. In my opinion, any clothes I bought from Adam never went smaller after wash. The clothes are quite expensive but they are a good quality Prices for: ** Baby set are around £8-£18 **baby tops are around £3-£10 **bodysuits and sleep suits are around £4-£18 ** Toddler up to £25… The ...

...their clothes so quickly, then Adams is well worth a look.... if you can find anything you actually like well enough to purchase, then you would be on to a winner! They always seem to have items on special offer; sales/ buy 1 get 1 half price/ BOGOF and the like. ~Selection~ Premature baby Newborn 0-3 3-6 6-9 9-12 months 1 yrs old up to school age. ...that they sell seems to be very similar in design to that of the shop "Next".... although admittedly not as nice! The clothes are not badly made, but I would describe them as middle of the road, sort of average! ~Loyalty Card~ If you have a Sainsbury's Nectar Card, you can also use it in Adams, as they are Partners in this scheme. You can get points on your shopping as well as redeem your Nectar Points here. ~Conclusion~ Overall, I would say ...

Advantages: School fleeces are good

...and used to shop in ADAMS years ago when my son was a baby.I think that the whole package of this shop is poor, the layout in my local store is awful, the baby clothes are not the easiest to reach considering we have a baby in pram with us.You have to get past the tills which has customers standing and as its narrow you usually end up with some clothes from the older section somehow attatched to you or the pram!when you finally do reach the baby stuff ...

Good quality hardwearing clothes

Advantages: easycare, hardwearing, good value
Disadvantages: none

...a lot of clothes. Adams is a major chain with branches in most town centres, so they are readily available, wherever you live. They also have franchises in some to the larger Sainsbury's supermarkets so you can buy clothes along with your weekly shop. There is a wide range of outfits and single items to suit all my kids in bright colourful designs that the kids don't object to wearing. The material is hardwearing and washes easily. The clothes maintain ...

...always liked her clothes from Adams as they are trendy and fit well, and I like the cost of them. They are good quality clothes that last well wash after wash, and certainly value for money. This has changed recently after another shopping trip to find grey school tights. I found some in Adams and thought that they were a little expensive at £2.99 a pair considering I needed to buy more than one. I bought age 7-8 as she is 7 years old soon and ...
...tights didn't fit her! They were too small in the legs and apart from pulling them so far up that it curled her toes under, they are useless. Adams apologised for this, but could not explain why a 6 year old couldn't get into age 7-8 years old tights. ...

Clothes to fit and quality made to last.

Advantages: Good quality
Disadvantages: Expensive full price

I have been shopping at Adams for about a year, and rarely buy something unless it is reduced or if there is a 20% off day. All the things I have bought have lasted well and washed well, and I have never had cause to take anything back. I have two daughters and I know that if I buy their clothes from Adams they will always be fit to hand down. When you visit an Adams store the staff are friendly and always willing to help. For example my eldest ...

This works out as a 5% return on your outlay. Not bad.And you can use it in some other shops to collect points too. They also have a play area for the children so you can have a good look whilst they play with lego, or have a ride. I have always found the range of clothes good, and although I ...

...isn't a proper review on adams I just wanted to say about the lovely blanket! My brother had a new baby boy the other day so off I went to town to buy something cute, first call Adams! Dont last..wont wash!

Advantages: Cute items for babies, wide selection.
Disadvantages: Cheap fabric, badly made, dont wash well, dont last.

...that the baby range in Adams is probably the only range that you should buy. By and large, the clothes are badly made from very cheap fabric, they don't wash at all well and don't last. If you buy the baby clothes, then this is not too bad because they will grow out of the clothes a week before they drop to bits. Clothes for children, look worn and old after probably 2/3 washes, the seams are rough and the fabric and designs are naff. I would rather ...

Disadvantages: Store was a little cramped

...first purchase in my local Adams shop was a set of three cotton sleepsuits. I was very impressed with the quality of the fabric, and also the way they stood up to repeated washing. The only problem I had at my local Adams shop was that the baby department was upstairs and there was no lift - OK when I had my baby in a carrier but not at all convenient with a push-chair. Adams is great for kids clothes, dont get me wrong. But ever had a buggy in a kids shop of all places where the baby stuff is upstairs and there is no lift?? Uh huh. Daft.
