Adobe Audition 1.5 Complete package

I was a bit dubious the first time I ran Adobe Audition. It is a new version of Cool Edit Pro , which in its own right was a great piece of software , but was not aimed at the professional digital recording and production market. Audition is stepping up to the next level , competing with the big names and still being available (and affordable) to the average digital music enthuisiast. Adobe Audition is a powerful peice of software for editing audio. It works well on most computers but to get the most out of it I would run it on at least a 1ghz computer with at least 512mb of RAM and allow plenty of hard drive space. Adobe Audition is an updated version of Cool Edit Pro, when Adobe bought out cool edit and renamed it Adobe Audition the only real change was the title, there was a few small tweaks like a major improvement to the vocal cut function. I use adobe audition 1.5 to record music and the quality is very good for a home based studio. It offers a lot from mixing & mastering tracks within the program and it is very easy to use. Their is no difficulty within this program what so ever, most people say that pro tools is industry standard but if you can't afford pro tools then adobe audition 1.5 is your next best multitrack recording software.
