Advantages: Great idea, artistic graphics, and superb music in an addictive game. Disadvantages: It might be a game that one plays only once.
Agatha Christie ™ Death on the Nile (pc game)
The objective of this game is to find the murderer(s) of a married woman called Linnet Doyle and other victims later on. This murder took place on a board ship and so players are shown different rooms on the ship and asked to find certain objects some of which turn out to be clues. A certain time is given at the end of which if not all the objects were found, the player repeats the stage they failed ... ...for instance). And of course, Agatha Christie's book was written in 1937 and the creators of this game choose the objects in each room carefully to suit that period. The characters themselves are represented with faithfulness to the original text, especially in the case of the famous detective.
Probably one of the best things about this game is the music; it is superb and definitely relevant to the idea behind this game. It gives you the feeling ...

Advantages: Used up a couple of hours on an otherwise dull Sunday Disadvantages: Nothing challenging about it
I've played a few of Agatha Christie's puzzle games, one of which involved Hercule Poirot and I really enjoyed them. This one however I found dreadfully poor and I'm not really sure what the creators were thinking of when they dreamt it up. == Overview == You take on the role of Poirot who must investigate a murder on board a cruise ship sailing up the Nile. === Features === * 14 suspects to interrogate * 12 investigation levels * 24 rooms with hidden ... ...* Windows 98 or above * 600MHz CPU * 128 RAM * 57MB Free Disk Space * Direct X 6 or above == My Thoughts == With all the other puzzle games I've played there's also been a bit of video play to go with them. That's probably not the right technical term, but I mean that Poirot for example would wander around looking for clues, when you talked to someone they would be animated and it'd look like they were talking. Also when they were talking the conversation ...

...Poirot, the Belgian detective from Agatha Christie's books. You seek various objects in various rooms on board the ship where several murders take place. Some of the objects are part of the clues i.e. part of a letter is found and a message asks who wrote the letter? There is a limited time to complete each section with only five hints in each one. In between each section is a mini quiz which can be skipped but some are fun to attempt.
Throughout ... ...this. When the end of the game is reached, the murder is revealed and we are back to day one and you could start again. You buy the game and then download it onto your pc which is a pain if you want to try it on a friend's computer. It is harder than some of the games and enjoyable trying to solve the clues. I would recommend the game ...
