Although this game now lacks some of the stunning graphics of modern games, the storyline and ability of the user to make up their own storylines, makes up for this. This Age of Empires games deserves much credit due to its classical style and real time strategy. I, personally, have been playing this game for almost 10 years and believe that it never gets old. The ability of customizing the battles you want to fight in Custom Games as well as being able to create maps makes this game one of the best games out there. It is a great shame that Ensemble Studios, the creator of the Age of Empires series, has shut down and no longer be delivering any more Age of Empires games.
