    I guess I was quite fortunate as a teenager. I never suffered one single solitary spot throughout my latter school years and I never had to put up with “chip pan hair” as some of my poor unfortunate peers did.     Anyone who has dry, damaged hair, knows how depressing and annoying it can be.     Recently I went to get my hair cut. This did not go well. I am currently trying to grow my hair, but the hairdresser said to me that my hair was in really bad condition and I should have it cut into a bob to get rid of the split ends before trying to grow it again. I really didn’t like the resulting haircut (not because a lack of skill on the part of the hairdresser, I should add, but because I didn’t like it on me).     I have very fine hair, which tends to dry out very easily and ends up looking dry and lifeless. While I do use VO5 styling creme after washing it to add extra shine ands sleekness, this is only a temporary cover up, and by the end of the day has usually worn off. That's why I regularly treat my hair to VO5 hot oil. VO5 Hot Oil is designed to add life to your hair, and repairs any damage, leaving you with silky, glossy locks. And that's what it does too!!     I recently bought my first pack of VO5 Hot Oil on the suggestion of a friend. My hair breaks very easily, and as it is long (and I'd like to grow it longer) and very fine, this is even more of a curse than it would be otherwise.     Ciao want your own honest experiences of the products that you use, so this is my experience of using VO5 HOT OILS. I bought this because since being pregnant and having my daughter, my hair has dried out and become really brittle. It breaks constantly and looks like straw. So one day while in savers, I spotted this and upon reading the back of the box, thought that my hair was definately needing some hot oil treatment. I’d been flicking through peoples opinions and come across this one quite a few times, I read a number of rave reviews before finally deciding to give it a go!     I recently had my hair coloured to liven it up as I am in the process of growing it long. Six weeks on and my hair has played into the hands of the harsh weather conditions Britain chucks our way and bad treatment I’ve given it in the way of daily blow-drying and brushing.     VO5 were one of the first shop brands to do the hot oil, now every brand does its own treatment waxes, oils etc. But this still remains my favourite of all time. It is inexpensive and it really does work. The hot oil leaves your hair so soft and managable, and its ok to use regularly like once a week if you need or once or month like I do. You warm the oil up in a cup of boiling water first, before applying to your hair. You then massage it into your hair and scalp, making sure first that the water has cooled in the cup slightly so you dont scald yourself in the process. To speed things up I ... more
