...Since people still think these Alfa dont have build quality the second hand value was quite low. Now, my 166 has about 250000 kilometers on the odometer and its still perfect. No oil consumption, no mechanical problems or electronic gremlins. And my driving style is 'heavy footed', so i am certainly not easy on it.. I chiptuned the Diesel engine 1,5 years ago.. at 170k, transforming the car into a fast car, with 170hp and 400NM torque.. Although ... ...wife has an Alfa 156, and the handling of this one is better.. more sporty.. but less for the big roads.. What i dont like as well are the brakes.. they vibrate a bit.. guess thats just my car.. but maybe i just have to replace the rotors.... ...
