...drive an beautiful Rosso Red Alfa 166 2.5 V6 Manual. I chose the car for its dramatic and distintive looks, especially from the front, and in order to be just that bit different from the crowd. With around £23,500 to spend the other choices (BMW, Audi, Merc etc) all seemed boring to look at when compared to the Alfa. Once delivered, after 10 weeks!, I was convinced I had made the right choice, looks, status, performance and the sweet sweet sound ... ...but hey this is an Alfa and don't all Italian cars have electrical problems. Anyway the dealer will fix it won't they. Maybe when I can get a dealer who cares. 3 dealers later I now have cruise control but my aircon is still only woking when it feels like it. I have completed 24,000 miles in 6 months and am averaging around 26 mpg over a mixture of motorway and M25! Despite my gripes I love my car. It is fast, very quiet inside, very comfotable and ...
