Advantages: Gentle story Disadvantages: Words are too small for a young child to pick up
...his friends coming towards him, what will they say or do? The illustrations in the book are bright, colourful and full of detail, I especially like bear and bee as they both look very cute! ==What do I think?==
This is a nice gently story perfect for bedtime as my son really settles down instead of getting wound up like some of the books we read. The book does not make it clear that the animals we get to meet are actually bears friends until the ... ...very good at picking up what is going on in the story and he kept telling us that bears friends were not being very nice and that he was just trying to help and wanted to play. I have to say my favourite bit in the story is when bear is scratching his back, he climbs a tree and then has fun swinging across it like a monkey! The words in the book are quite small so a young child would find it hard to read this on their own. My son gets quite annoyed ...
