    Advantages Advantages A lot has happened in my life so this is interesting to read

    This is a brief outline of my complex life so far. So much has happened in my life that I stuggled to get it down to just under 3000 words. I could easily write a book on this. Every school day I dreaded right from primary school until the day I left secondary school, and yet I had a 100% attendance record right the way through. My mum had terrible trouble getting me to school, she literally had to drag me there every day. She found this quite wearing over time and used to get very stressed out.     For my 50th review I decided to do something a little different. As I've been on Ciao a fair while now, and feel comfortable in the community, I decided to tell you all a little more about me.     Disadvantages Disadvantages loosing people i loved dearly to tragic circumstances.

    When a good friend of mine found out I was writing on here they suggested that I do an all about me review as my life has been somewhat colourful.     I’ve been a bastard all my life. This is going to sound pretty obvious to most people, but it isn’t, really. A lot of children grow up in and out of wedlock, blissfully unaware of the fact and not giving a hoot either way. That wasn’t the case with me. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t aware of it. I remember the time when I asked my mother what the word meant. In Italy, where I grew up, family-related insults are extremely common. “Son of a whore” is probably the most-used insult in the playground.     Ciao drew me in like Alice chasing a wild rabbit- before long, I felt like I had entered a different world.... where people decide on what experiences and products to go to/purchase by the quality of review they can expect to derive from it.     I decided to write a short autobiography to show that there is always hope, on re-reading I think it sounds a bit self pittying but it wasn't intended that way. I was born into a single parent family and lived with my mother, grandmother and 14 yr old brother in Bristol. My mother had suffered 8 miscarriages trying for me and had had a baby which died at 6mths 10 years before my arrival, from which she would never recover, subsequently she was on a cocktail of alcohol and tranquilizers which made it difficult for her to bond with me.     Ok, this review may seem a little boring and dragged out but ive shortened it as much as possible. After my mum was told for two and a half years that she could not have any children, I, Rachel, was born on July 10th in Huddersfield. I then lived with both parents in a two-bedroom house until July 1988 when my mum became pregnant again and we moved to a bigger house but still in the same area. My sister was born in February 1989.     What makes us choose our Ciao names? Wimbledon is just around the corner, so what better time to tell you why I chose mine . . . . . . When I was probably about ten, I had a wooden tennis racket. These are the days long before Steel, Aluminium, Graphite, Titanium, Hyper Carbon, Liquid Metal and the like had been invented, so I guess I'm really giving my age away here! Dinosaurs didn't quite roam the earth, but we are at least talking about the dark ages. I don't remember where this racket came from, if it was a gift or whatever, I just had it.     As X-factor series 3 has just hit our screens I thought I would share my experience of the auditions back in June 2006.... ~Sunday 18th June 2006~ *Where do I go? No-one knows.........* It's 12:30pm and I arrive at the Manchester United Football grounds, Old Trafford. I've printed out an address off the X-factor website and it states to be at the Manchester football grounds in Old Trafford. I'm confused because I only know of these grounds being at Old Trafford.
