All in One Piece - Jill Murphy

All in One Piece' by Jill Murphy is a really fun read for little children and parents alike. Jill Murphy is quite a prolific children's writer and is well known for her 'Worst Witch' series of books. She has also written a number of books about a family of elephants, called the Large family,and this book is part of that series. Although it's nice to occasionally get a kids book that has nothing sinister in it other than giving the readers a bit of fun, it is good to have books with nice and appealing stories, loveable characters, and a bit of a moral to the tale. Jill Murphy's Peace At Last is one of our favourite books. When our (5 year old) son was a baby and then a toddler, he loved having this book read to him. Myself and my daughter are currently working our way through a set of Large family books that she got for her birthday although I must say it is a pretty slow process as we have to read each book for about a week before we are allowed to change to the next one. This weeks book has been All in One Piece, the books are written and illustrated by Jill Murphy and have now been altered into a TV series. I recently came across this children's book 'All In One Piece', when I was doing some Christmas shopping. I loved the author so much as a child that I decided to buy this book as a Christmas present for a child. The book is currently available to buy from Amazon for a price of £3.81 which I think is excellent value! In this book : Mr and Mrs Large are getting ready for their office's work party.
