Advantages: Strong, deep punchy bass Disadvantages: 12inch mounting depth, power requirements
This sub hits hard and fast. I bought it looking for quality bass and was not dissapointed. Im running it it a sealed box and although it doesnt put out as much bass as cheap ones in ported boxes do, it makes up for that in the quality. Been using it for 6months now and havnt had a single problem. Perfect for rock music and easily manages fast drum beats. One drawback is that it requires a lot of power (im running it with the MRD-M1005) so really ... ...and some serious cable! It's also huge and requires 12 inches at the back to mount it which again is a drawback but well worth the time if your looking for good bass. The rrp of £380 (i think) seems a touch high but as i got it for half of that i'd say it's well worth the money. The build quality is awesome so should last many years.
If you're looking for some of the best quality bass then look no further, in my mind worth every penny. ...
