An end to a lovely meal.
Review of Alpro Soya by
Elffriend
Advantages: A product that you may not know about.
Disadvantages: Leave some for me.
...distinctive packaging, mostly yellow, the Alpro Soya logo stands out on a blue background, the words, Dairy-free, non-GMO Soya beans follow with a low fat heading as well. There is a white box with a heart shape to denote that the Heart association approves this. Right at the bottom of the carton, are the words Dairy-free Custard + Calcium, very important for milk –allergy sufferers as calcium is mostly found in milk.
On the back of the package ...

Review of Alpro Soya by
Suzi75
Advantages: Dairy Free, Enriched with Calcium & Other Essential Vitamins.
Disadvantages: Takes a little getting used to.
...by far has to be Alpro Soya's Provamel Milk.
~~~~~Price & Availability~~~~~
This does tend to be stocked by all Major Supermarkets although the price varies enormously, my local Co-Op sells this for £1.49 for a 1 litre tetrapak container, Sainsbury's are very competitive at £1.29 a litre and Tesco's come in at a mere £0.87 per litre.
~~~~~Packaging~~~~~
The packaging consists of a tall rectangular tetrapak which is mainly blue in colour. ...

A milk free source of calcium
Review of Alpro Soya by
lorna_call
Advantages: Lactose and dairy free
Disadvantages: Can be a bit more expensive than dairy products
...I have however discovered the Alpro Soya range and my son does seem to really enjoy the products. Alpro products are made from soya therefore most do not contain dairy ingredients, although they have added calcium, this means I can give my son tasty snacks that he enjoys knowing he is getting calcium and also certain that he is avoiding products which contain lactose.
The Alpro Soya product range is quite extensive and includes soya alternatives ...

Healthy drinking (and cooking).
Review of Alpro Soya by
spottydog2
Advantages: Healthy and tastes good.
Disadvantages: Increased my intake of coffee.
I was first introduced to Alpro Soya milk afew months ago and have not looked back since. I have it every day. I enjoy the taste, I have it in my coffee, cereal and sometimes cook with it. I first chose it because of the health benefits, it is a bonus that I enjoy the taste. It is a `tasty blend of water and soya beans, with calcium and vitamins.
Alpro soya milk is available in a carton. It is blue and white and contains one litre. The best before ...

Great alternative to dairy milk
Review of Alpro Soya by
Heidavey
Advantages: Lactose free, not UHT
Disadvantages: bit expensive, takes some getting used to
...exactly what you get in Alpro Soya.
Alpro Soya is pretty much unique in the fact that it is fresh non-dairy milk. This does mean that it won’t last as long as other soya milks, but to get rid of that UHT taste, it’s worth it.
Alpro Soya comes in a 1 litre carton with a blue lid. The words Provamel from Alpro Soya are at the top and there is a picture of milk being poured into a glass. On the right hand side it displays the info Low ...

A brilliant nutritional start to the day.
Review of Alpro Soya by
Leighsa
Advantages: Vitamins and minerals, omega 3 & 6, low in saturated fats.
Disadvantages: Perhaps the slight bland taste, only 4% of hulled Soya beans are used to make this.
What is it?
***********
I would have just said Soya milk - but on the packet, it states; 'a tasty blend of water and Soya beans, with calcium and vitamins'.
What does it do?
******************
It is intended as an alternative to dairy milk, especially for those who are allergic to it or looking for something more nutritious. This appealed to me as it claims to be lower in saturated fat, contains all eight essential amino acids, vitamins, ...

Milky milky
Review of Alpro Soya by
racheldarcy
Advantages: tastes delicious
Disadvantages: Expensive and separates in hot drinks
I have just found this fresh soya milk in tesco and it is so delicious that I felt compelled to write about it.
It is different to most soya milk as it is fresh (soya milk usually comes in UHT form)so you will find it in the fridge with the cows milk. The milk is made from GMO free soya beans, filtered water, apple extract, tri calcium phosphate, Seasalt, flavourings and has Vitamins E, B2, D and B12 added. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans ...

Only use occasionally
Review of Alpro Soya by
vlal21
Advantages: Doesn't taste artificial, the chocolate version is very tasty
Disadvantages: Sugar rotted my teeth!
...until the So Good and Alpro Soya fresh/chilled versions I had always been using the long life, non-chilled type.
Then one day, whilst shopping in Tesco, I noticed Alpro Soya in the chiller cabinet - it was in the milk section. I thought I would try it and I actually really liked it. It tastes much more subtle than So Good, which is great as I found So Good has an artificial flavour taste... very strong and slightly chemically. Alpro Soya tasted ...

Alpro Soya Milk - widely sold, great creamy taste
Review of Alpro Soya by
webfoot
Advantages: It tastes brilliant
Disadvantages: Like all competitors, only in 1 litre packs - why not 0.75 and 1.5 ltr packs
Yes, Alpro Soya is a market leader with the advantage of a Europe-wide distribution and yummy taste. I managed to buy it this year in supermarkets in La Palma (one of the smaller Canary Islands) and now in Duzce, a small town near the Black Sea in Turkey where I am on a short work assignent (Duzce was the scene of horrific earthquake in 1999 in which 19,000 peope died.)
Alpro isn't the cheapest around, but my wife, another soya milk convert, moans ...

...brand of soya milk and Alpro soya organic milk have the best taste and nutrition value.

Quick review of Alpro Soya
Review of Alpro Soya by
Jennogs
As I am lactose intolerant I have tried various other sources of Soya milk drinks and found them universally intolerable - I personally found Rice milk drinks absolutely revolting. I tried Alpro Soya milk - which I found delicious - but best of all is the ALPRO SOYA LIGHT - it tastes delicious with no hint of unpleasant flavour at all. I recently underwent abdominal surgery and have switched entirely to ALPRO SOYA LIGHT drink. Not only is is delicious is has certainly helped me on my way to a two stone loss of weight in two months! Alpro dairy free yogurts are super too! Well done Alpro!

Quick review of Alpro Soya
Review of Alpro Soya by

I have been using about 1/2 litre of Alpro Soya for the past 5 years.
I would like to ask a question from the company Alpro Soya, but your website does not have a "Contact Us" link for enquiries. I would have liked to ask the question that would enable me to make an informed decision obout whether to buy another brand.

Quick review of Alpro Soya
Review of Alpro Soya by
Vize
Excellent alternative to cows milk. Acquired taste but once used to it cows milk tastes awful! can be used in cooking successfully. Bought in bulk, (box of 12) direct from Essential at £11.6. e-mail sales@essential-trading.coop Who incidentally supply a huge range of good quality products, you can save pounds!
My question to Alpro soya is can you freeze the milk? My family have fled the nest and I can't drink a litre in 5 days! (small cartons are so expensive and not available from Essential. Can anyone advise?

Chocolate Milk For Grown-ups
Review of Alpro Soya by
maklhouf
Advantages: contains raw sugar
Disadvantages: Contains sugar
...protective against heart disease generally.
Fortunately Alpro soya milk is formulated with protective seaweed.
Soya beans are such a fag to prepare that milk is the best way to take them. This comes in milk and choc flavour and I very much like the choc. It has a sophisticated smooth feel, a million miles from the syrupy nursery stuff we are used to. A dash of Tia Maria might work with it.
I've only seen Alpro in Holland and Barrett. £1.20 ...
