...a friend gave me his Altec Lansings. At first they did take some getting used to as they are bigger than the CX 300s, I would prefer them slightly smaller. Background noise isn't a problem but initially you may find the silicone tips take a bit of wiggling about to get them to fit exactly if you want them to block out all background noise. You'll get used to the positioning very quickly so it won't be a problem for long. The noise isolation level ... ...than those of the CX 300 which I think is around 12dB. If you need more than 16dB there's also a Professional set which have a noise isolation level of 26dB and generally higher spec.
The cable is a cloth cable making the durability greater. The earphones also come with a pouch to store them in and several sets of earphone covers.
Overall the sound quality is far superior to any headphones I've had before. The durability is spot on. The headphones ...
