Advantages: High SPF protection, hypoallergenic Disadvantages: Very easily breakable lid!
...to everything. Not a lot Ambre Solaire can do about that... maybe? They claim on the bottle that this product has 'high sand resistance'!!! I personally haven't noticed that - I think that if you have any cream or moisture on your skin sand will stick to it, so I can't give an answer either way on that one! Maybe they're right? I'm not sure!
However, I shall get on with the purposeful part of the review........
I myself had to use kids sunscreen ... ...but I still buy this Ambre Solaire Kids Total Sunscreen for my children, as it has a high (or apparently 'maximum') SPF of 60. This basically means that the product protects up to 60 times the normal natural sun protection against sun burn your skin offers. It is also water resistant (up to 40 times more than non-water resistant sunscreen), handy for days out at the pool and, yes the beach - and although it says 'water resistant' - it doesn't mean ...

Advantages: Good protection, rubs in well Disadvantages: Lid on bottle could be stronger
Ambre Solaire Kids is a mosturising protection milk made by Garnier. It is factor 35 which basically means you have 35 times longer than your natural protection in the sun. NOT that you only need to apply it once a day! It's white creamy but not too thick, you can't rub it in and it includes a moisturiser. Meeting European, Austrailian and Japanese standards its a must for the summer.
I have a 2 girls aged 2 1/2 and the youngest just turned one. ... ...friends, which happened to be Ambre Solaire KIDS. I was very dubious about using it as Maizie was only 6 weeks old at the time. I was very impressed and bought some the next day. It doesn't irritate their skin, avoiding the eye area of course. It didn't stain their clothes, not even when they got hot and even when they were playing with water. Most importantly they didn't burn and I have peace of mind that its a strong factor at 35.
I bought mine ...

Advantages: Stops childrens skin from burning Disadvantages: price
...I have a bottle of Ambre solaire kids moisturising sun block milk this is suitable for sensitive skins. I will tell you about it in a moment The advice we are given to protect little ones (and ourselves) from the sun is first to cover up exposed skin. To keep out of the sun especially between the hours of 11 and 3pm.
Children are encouraged to go out to play in the sun at school and not all playgrounds have shade, fortunately the school I work in ... ...Now onto Ambre solaire kids moisturising sun block. The one I have is factor 35 it is possible to get lower and higher factors the factor numbers indicate how long you can stay in sun with out burning. If you start burning after 10 minutes then multiply the factor by 10 minutes then that’s about how long you can stay in the sun with that cream on so 10-x factor 35 = 350 minutes so it should be safe to stay in the sun for 5 hrs 50 minutes. This ...

Quick review of Ambre Solaire Kids
Product: Garnier Ambre Solaire Kids Very High 50+ SPF.
As I have an allergy to moisturisers and now sun screen I purchased this as it claimed to be hypoallergenic, fragrance free and dermatologically tested.
In the hope that this product would not cause my skin to itch for days on end due to an allergice reaction, unfortunately, after using it I found that my allergy recurred and I reacted in the same way as I had with any other sun screen. ...

Advantages: great protection at a competetive price Disadvantages: difficult to apply to face
i used the factor 60 version on my 8 month old daughter and found that it gave good overall protection from the sun, good to get a cream with such high factor protection which isnt too hard to rub in and wasnt too sticky as some suncreams can be and was easy to apply to the body. However as with similar products was difficult to apply to the face as tend to use too much . Also after a month or so of being carried around in the changing bag the lid ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Burns the children's delicate skin
I am a childminder and applied the above cream on three of the children aged approximately 16 months. Within a very short period all three children came out in really bad rashes which burnt their skin. I would strongly recommend that you do not use this product on delicate skin. Once it get's into the skin it is incredibly difficult to wash off, this resulted in one of the children screaming for a bout half an hour whilst we were flushing out her ...

Advantages: Very Easy to apply and soaks in quickly Disadvantages: Had to apply more often then expected
...me i decided on using Ambre Solaire for Kids as i felt that this would offer excellent protection while on holiday and as my son suffers prickly heat i thought it would be good as it is suitable for sensitive skins.
While on holiday i found the product lived up to neally all my expectations, it was quick and easy to apply which absorbed quickly into the skinand it did not iratate my sons prickly heat which was a added bonus to use.
The only problem ... ...more frequent when they had been in the water as i felt it was not offering them the Extra protection it said, but my children did spend a lot of time in the water.
On the whole i would recommend this product, and will be buying it again on my next family holiday. ...

Advantages: Competitively priced Disadvantages: stained my baby's clothes and colour didn't fade
I had the spf 40 version, which I found provided sufficient sun protection. The down side was that it stained my baby's clothes. When out in the sun all day, they recommend that you apply it every 2 hours, so unless you strip your baby, some is going to get on their clothes. The other major drawback is the green / blue colouring to help your application. My baby turned blue, no matter how much I attempted to rub it in. He stayed blue until I bathed ...
