SETTING UP: You may all know that when you buy a pc you have to install all the disks and everything that came in the box, well with the IMac i just took it out of the box, turned it on and went through the initial setup. the way they design the product is being plan in such a good manner... all those high performance hareware were able to be fitted in to the lcd... which helping in saving lot of space especially the spaces for the CPU for the performance it can say to be better than any other platform based pc graphic is also excellent i think most of the graphic designer would using it rather than using other platform based pc

I don't know where to start... Just a really, really awesome computer. I switched from a PC to this and i would honestly never go back. This is my 2nd Mac I have owned and it by far is the best. Being a graphic and web designer I wanted a Mac that could handle the large memory eating programs such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver with ease, this can easily handle both these programs at the same time along with about 5 others without a single problem. Don't buy!!! - complete rubbish - over rated - won't copy dvds simply - not even your own material...despite their claims software is not simple. Also harware very sensitive to what dvd discs it 'decides' to accept or not. (Google on this point and it comes up over and over again). Completyely undeserved claims that it suits media workers and artists....too much spent on claims not ensuring it does what it should.....never buy Apple again!!

Advantages: They're fast, protect your computer from viruses, easy to use, have lots of excellent programs.
Disadvantages: You can sometimes lose work on there but that happens with all computers.

Apple mac computers are the same make as the successful selling Apple Ipods and the latest creation out soon the Iphone. The are very good computers and don't take up much room as all the hardware is stored in the back of a small screen. So there is no need to make room for a computer tower block. Although a powerful tool, The Apple iMac lacks that certain pinash and accessibility given by Windows and other Microsoft software. This a very professional computer, it has a very beautiful design. It has a good speed and it is very safe. I love my iMac. I have been a PC person all of my life, but now i am converted.
