Advantages: Great product, high performance, superb design Disadvantages: None for me
Let me tell you I have had my MacBook Pro for 3 months and it really is brilliant!

I won't go into specifics, I mean there is no discussion the performance level is high and a quality feature like he iSight makes the product very attractive, especially for a laptop where you don't want to attach an external webcam but the best in my opinion is the Intel Core Duo processor because it allows you to run applications like 'Parallels' ... ...Windows operating system image as a virtual machine (Parallels) or install and use Windows softwares and games (CrossOver) seamlessly on the Mac.
The Intel Core Duo simply allows the best of two worlds without rebooting and most importantly without any performance issue.
This machine can run pretty hot but this can be controlled by third party utilities such as smcFanControl so I don't consider this much of a problem .. just thought I mentioned ...

Advantages: CORE DUO HAS MADE IT SO MUCH FASTER Disadvantages: THE PRICE
I found the mac book pro core due 2.33 ghz with the 15 inch display so much faster than the powerbook and the new screens make working, playing games, browsing the internet, watching videos much more pleasent. The owners handbook isnt much help other than turning it on and the basic settings, when you get any problems you have to use mac help on the laptop itself which is good but it does not have everything in it. The problems i have had with it ...
