Advantages: Great design, innovative software, long battery life, bright screen, great value. Disadvantages: Some slight compatibility issues but these are minor.
...buy a cheaper laptop/desktop from apple that can run both? It just makes sense.
And there again lies another reason why these laptops are great - their value for money. This may sound strange when talking about a near 1.5k laptop - but for a similarly spec'd laptop, you would not get anything near this price.
Finally - the jewel in the crown (as far as I'm concerned). My rather reasonable education discount! I managed to save alot of money when ...

...recent firmware upgrade offered by Apple and a smaller program called Bootcamp OS X now includes BIOS support as apossed to just EFI. What does this mean? Well it means you can install other operating systems such as Windows XP (only SP2 atm) and linux distro's such as Fedora Core. Great but I wanted OS X to get way from other operating systems...Well its a welcome addition, especially to professionals, many times professionals would need a second ...

...can see from the image, Apple have yet again invented something the public want. Its uniqueness is great and especially after the realease of the iPOD's - it only seems right that they brink out one of the PC's.
In fact, i hear that apple are going to be bringing out a phone as well but these are just rumours but seriously what's stopping them going further?

Advantages: Great product, high performance, superb design Disadvantages: None for me
Let me tell you I have had my MacBook Pro for 3 months and it really is brilliant!
*******************
I won't go into specifics, I mean there is no discussion the performance level is high and a quality feature like he iSight makes the product very attractive, especially for a laptop where you don't want to attach an external webcam but the best in my opinion is the Intel Core Duo processor because it allows you to run applications like 'Parallels' ...

Advantages: Size and weight, Environmental status, Compact and portable, Mac OS X Disadvantages: None
I am looking at this machine and thinking hard, but just can not find anything negative. OK may be it might be more convenient if it accept usual headset microphones in the inline plug or display can be opened a little bit further. You see after a week of heavy use, these are the only things I can think of.
It is cool, it is fast, and it is silent (I am very picky about fan noises). Multi-touch trackpad (amazing two finger scrolling), backlit keyboard, ...

This MacBook Pro is the computer you need to buy. It pays up to buy the bigger one because it has more USB ports, brighter screen and more memory and GHz. It is an Apple product, so it runs on Mac OSX Leopard (the new operating system) witch I like a lot better then Windows Vista. I refer this Mac to everyone that likes to work on the computer.

Advantages: Very clever in every way Disadvantages: Takes time getting used to, if you previously had microsoft.
The Apple MacBook Pro Core Duo 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT is the best laptop I have ever tried out.
One of the best features is the Iphoto program, where there is a webcam just above the screen. There is around 20 modes which you can set the camera to (normal, mirror, stretch, buldge and other) which you can use on MSN Messenger or you can just pull funny faces at yourself and have a laugh with your friend.
The internt (Safari Zone) is very easy to ...

Advantages: Fast and good for graphics Disadvantages: Price & Battery
I have now had my mac for nearly a year now and it is the best thing i have ever invested in and even though i got a student discount it was still quite pricey and the pay monthly price plan was great.
The mac is nothing like windows where you can open multiple windows without it freezing up or crashing down. (mine was a windows XP and it was brand new)
The battery life of the MacBook Pro is max 4 hours so thats a downfall but the performance ...

Bought for me by my dad, wanted one for ages and altho it takes a while to get used to if your used to windows, when you do, there is no way you will turn back!
I choose the pro because it had a good graphics card in which is very important because i do like my games. i also download a lot of stuff and store alot of pictures so this had enough space to satisfy my needs.
