...I tell you this because Apple try to "screw you over" somewhat, as they offer three different models of the MBP. Let me explain.
There are two versions of the 15.4" model, the second one having a 2.5GHz processor and a 250GB hard drive. The other difference you might notice if you look closely is that the processor cache size is 6MB not 3MB. Six is a bigger number than three, so the smaller one must be rubbish! This difference had me confused for ... ...anyway. That's enough gratuitous Apple bashing for now, I think. Most Apple products are expensive, but in this case I believe it really is worth it.
All the applications are fast to run. It boots up quickly, shuts down quicker, and goes to sleep (and wakes up again!) in a well behaved manner. Advantages: Fantastic screen for working on images. Love the aluminum case. Disadvantages: Gets hot. Lacks a slot for memory cards.

Ive been using this machine since Dec 2008 and so far theres little that I have to complain. Good speed, amazing reliability and hardly ever does it crash. I bought it to basically power up my film production courses that Im doing and to help me with editing. Even though the total purchase was expensive compared to the other alternatives in the market, i'm still glad I made the purchase because up till now all that i've gotten is excellent usage ... ...newly introduced flat keys may look awkward at first but once you start using them they're a joy to have. You just cant do without them! I have owned this Mac for 8 months now and run parallels on it for the entirety of its life. I upgraded the RAM to 4GB and it has worked an absolute treat whilst running Photoshop and numerous other applications synchronously. The screens do dirty easily but a quality cleaning product does the job. The silver top, where your palms rest during typing have worn slightly but otherwise the silver is very durable. I bought this product on Ebay and had it delivered to me for £5.99 with FreightSearch.com ...

I am looking at this machine and thinking hard, but just can not find anything negative. OK may be it might be more convenient if it accept usual headset microphones in the inline plug or display can be opened a little bit further. You see after a week of heavy use, these are the only things I can think of.

This is a brilliant little laptop.
It not only looks sexy, it does exactly what it says on the tin!!
It has all the features of a PC, but is less susceptible to viruses and hackers. The programmes are easy to use and its compatible with Windows, if that's what you're used to.
It has a mega memory, so for normal use, there's no need for upgrades.
Good battery power time and portability makes this a really useful laptop for anything you need to use it for!!
