    Besides from sounding like a waterproof anorak for children, the Mac Mini is actually quite a good machine. I mean it is small, metallic, can browse the internets and be used a weapon of blunt force trauma easily due to it's weight and size. It is more than a computer, it is a multi-purpose object that is attractive to boot, so after causing a brain haemorrhage you can set it back down again and use it to continue streaming that video of the Panda being shocked by her cub sneezing, with its flawless lines unaffected.     Advantages Advantages Small, Can be used on any monitor you wish, fast, clean, lots of storage space

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Must buy separate monitor and accessories, Locks up from time to time. NO CD DRIVE

    I recently bought the Mac Mini 2.5 ghz 2GB ram model. I have it connected to a Vizio 26" tv screen that acts as my monitor. This computer runs strikingly well for the price and size of the machine itself. In my opinion, everyone should own one of these machines; it's small and can practically be put anywhere, runs almost exactly the same as a Mac pro (I couldn't tell the difference), and any wired or wireless accessories can be implemented on it. It has accessional freeze ups that require me to restart the system, but almost any computer on the market will have that. I do casually game on it ... more
