Apple recently upgraded the software to allow you to rent movies through itunes provided that the Apple TV is connected to the internet via either the ethernet port on the back or using the in built wifi. The Apple TV is an excellent device for playing all kinds of media. Superiour usability and user interface on my new flatscreen TV. Supports WLAN and comes with Apple remote. The only disadvantage is, that you have to convert all media with iTunes and only can synchronize with iTunes. It's important to mention, that it's not a DVR. The newest firmware version 1.1 also supports browsing in youtube, and also supports a searching for video, that's really maximum fun! ...
