    PC or Mac? Difficult choice but my great preference has always been for PC. I love them. Started with a 120Mhz pentium on a 1.5Gb HDD running Windows 95. Since then have had every incarnation of Windows (some good and some bad) and find that the basic OS is easy to get into 'nuts and bolts' for tweaking performance. Typically early PC's were horrendous beige boxes which didn't really change in the mainstream until people started to modify their PC's or upgraded components for gaming purposes.     Advantages Advantages Easy to use, logical and has infinate connectivity.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages There arn'et any.

    This mac is one of the most quick computers that anyone could ever have and has so much power that you can run over 15 applications at a time with it still being silent. And of course if you get the brilliant magic mouse and keyboard this happens to be the most pretty computer ever. If you need to read windows documents this is perfect as it does it all for you. It also only has one lead coming out the back and has wireless and blue-tooth. Set up is so easy and apple are very helpful if you talk to them.     Nice screen size... bigger than your average PC. Very user friendly, plug it in, and away you go. ‘Spaces’ is very useful, especially when you are working on multiple documents, and need to flick back and too quickly. Plenty of USB ports, which allow for multiple accessories - unless you use the Apple wireless mouse and keyboard, which are great, but do run through batteries very quickly. I found it more affordable to buy rechargeable batteries, otherwise would have spent the same amount on them as i did the computer in the first place! Plenty of storage and memory.     Disadvantages Disadvantages A similar spec PC would be around £400, easy to put memory card in CD/DVD slot.

    A while back I purchased an iMac 21.5 inch from our local Apple store. I was excited when I got back home to open the rather heavy box. The one thing I can say is that the iMac was extremly well packaged in it's foam. The screen had a large foam/cloth like cover protecting it and the mouse was in it's own little pouch. I was very happy to see Apple had put a lot of effort into just designing the packaging. Upon starting up the iMac I was greeted with an extremely helpful setup wizard, taking me through all the steps, even setting up the keyboard etc. In my opinion it was a much better and ... more

    I have owned this product for about 6 months and I am already in love with it. The display, similar to the iphone 4, is so clear. The images look so real. The amount of space is quite abnoxious. The GB is way too much, but not that that is a bad thing. I have everything to handle my life on the hard drive and I still have 380GBs left. The computer is also very simple and easy to use. Like an iPhone, all you have to do is click on the application you want and it will open immediately.     This is a fantastic product for anyone looking for a top performing computer. Easy to use and so versatile that it''s a pleasure to play around with it every single day. I ordered this computer a week ago and still amazed by what it can do. Before this, I was using a windows based computer but since I was starting to do more and more with music and graphic manipulations, I figured apple would be better suited. And it is !!     Apple really went all out on this one, with no cut corners that I have seen, inside or out. To start out, this is by far the best computer I have ever owned. I was previously a windows person, then decided to take the leap forward to mac, and am glad that I did. Every detail of the machine is flawless, from the wireless keyboard to the way that files are displayed in the GUI. Even the internal speakers are high quality and get quite loud. The computer is very fast and has plenty of ram unless you plan to run certain CAD programs (I have, even then it's usually fine), but will take upgrades up ... more

    After owning PC’s all my life, i finally took the plunge and decided to go for a Mac. And i am SO pleased i did!!! i don’t think i will ever go back to PC’s after owning one of these... they are just fantastic in every way! from their sleek, smart design, through to the intelligent apps....
