Advantages Looks good, light and easy to carry, functional, starts up quickly
Disadvantages Concerns over build quality, poor camera, software glitches can be annoying

I have never been a huge advocate of Apple products although I must be honest here and say the huge price tags attached to many of their laptop and desktop computers has something to do with that. However I do have reservations about the closed system they use and, if I am honest, dislike just how big they have become in recent times. Advantages So lightweight, Great Design, Incredibly Fast, Easy to use, Brilliant Battery life
Disadvantages Its a bit on the pricey side

My friend recently bought an Ipad and after a few days of being the extremely pleasant and simply the bestest best friend ever to her in the whole wide world…she let me borrow it for a few days! Advantages It's an Apple device, that's all you need to know
Disadvantages Used mainly by unlikeable people

Besides from sounding like a dual-layer, 6 droplet rated lady's sanitary towel with wings, and being as portable as a heaving a dead rat around in your trouser pocket, the iPad 2 is actually a very good device to use. My wife has one, and has used it as a reason to mock me and remind me of my lack of tablet based computing until I got my Sony Tablet S. I can't blame her, because the machine itself is very easy to use, fast, responsive, and the Apple name tag makes its owners turn into rude, fart sniffing members of society. iPad 2 - Possibly the best tablet on the market for its price 18/03/2012

Advantages Possibly the best tablet on the market, excellent screen, apps, cheaper
Disadvantages Battery life, lack of flash support

I'm sure the vast majority of those buying an iPad 2 will be very pleased with it. For the most part it lives up to the hype and is a very seductive piece of kit. After downloading iTunes onto the computer and registering, setting up the iPad is a doddle as it's simply a case of connecting it to the computer and the automatic 'synching' process does the rest. Connecting to the internet via Wi-Fi with my 'N' router was as easy as entering the password and I have to say the response time of the Safari web browser was very impressive, with pages loading very quickly making web browsing a joy. Advantages Ease of use, portability, and tons of functionality.
Disadvantages Not much new versus the last iPad, and lack of a physical keyboard makes for slower typing

The iPad 2 is an odd product. It's hard to explain just how amazing having one feels, but I will try to put it into words. Before I got the iPad I did not think that I even wanted one. I already owned an iPhone and I had a laptop as well. But when I was given it for Christmas I quickly fell in love with it. The first thing you notice when you turn the iPad on is how crisp the screen looks. The screen readjusts itself to match the orientation you hold it in, even if you hold it upside down! I was given my iPad 2 as a gift for fathers day. What a gift! First look- the box it comes in is sturdy and looks impressive. It contains the iPad, a plug in charger adaptor and a USB cable which doubles as the charger cable. I was disappointed that there were no instruction manual or earphones like I got bundled with my iPhone. Next step was to turn it on. Like other Apple products registration with iTunes via a PC or Mac is required. This is easy enough but compulsory before you can use it. Once registered you can start experimenting. Advantages Very easy to use, good for browsing, emails and games!

When wanting to purchase a tablet i compared multiple different designs by various designers such as HTC, Blackberry, Acer. But in the market only one Tablet stood out to me and this was the Apple Ipad 2. The disgn of this tablet is just incredible. I purchased the Ipad 2 for basically surfing the web, gaming and also to watch movies on the go around the house. I recently wanted to purchase an iPad2 as a present but had a lot of trouble understanding the reviews that other people had written - so here is a review written by somebody who is not technically minded. Please do not read further if you are interested in learning more about the specifications etc of the iPad 2 as I am not going to discuss them. Apple are clever, I dont need to tell you of course. They developed a new thing. The most useless thing that everybody wants. A thing of beauty, an accessory, fun, easy to use. Just watch how a five year old picks one up and just plays, with no instruction...a great advert for the genius of design.I'm sure there is no need for another review, yet I feel the need to moan..even if nobody cares and shouts, 'It's been said before!'But how irritating it can be.
