I Bought one last year and it is great. Im never of it, especially with the new great update. It is thin, light, good looking and has tonnes of Gig. I have 8 movie and loads of TV shows and it isn't even half full. The Picture quality is outstanding. The sound quality is equally as good. I use bluetooth headphones and the sound is crystal clear. This proves how good the Bluetooth is. The wifi is very easy to connect to your wireless internet. If you have never used an apple electronic device it is fairly easy to use. Disadvantages Not practically useful

It's an okay toy to play with but if you want serious work buy an Asus ep121. The iPad is speedy running it's lightweight custom built os(and by custom built I mean based off iPhone os that one mine glitches out and ran iPhone os. This toy may seem great but the cost of apps and lack off ash make it a terrible pick for a tablet to replace anything important. I do have to say it is great for managing email, YouTube, twitter, and Facebook but that's the problem, that's all its good for and safari browsing gets very laggy especially when dealing with crosshatch and fades on websites or popups on ... more

I have to say that I was never a huge fan of Apple products, that is until my iPhone 3gS arrived back in January. Since then I've been fairly convinced that Apple is not the work of the devil and yes, they do offer some phenomenal products, albeit at a price. If you ask me though, it's money well spent. Now, my review of the iPad 64 GB. What did I want with an oversized iPhone? Why not just stick with a laptop for streaming video? Advantages Fantastic for travelling
Disadvantages no adobe. Typing is tedious

I received my ipad as a present and while I enjoy using it, I do find it a lot more limited than a laptop. Not being able to use adobe is a real pain and it is not conducive to work. I am a good typist but one finger on a touch pad is a slow process and the keyboard you can buy is, in my opinion, too small. The ipad is great for games and browsing on the internet although I often tag the wrong link when the text is small. I think a more comprehensive instruction manual would have been helpful although you do pick things up quickly and setting it up at first is a breeze. The major drawbacks for ... more

Advantages Incredible user interface, incredible screen, very fast and easy internet use
Disadvantages Not really suitable for high level working, at least until suitable apps are released.

I'm a student and received the iPad as a gift. The intention of the gift was that I could use it in my studies to make life a little bit easier and mean that I wouldn't have to lug a laptop around everywhere. Unfortunately I found that the note-taking programs available on the iPad were just not suitable for what I wanted to use them for. However, it is very, very good at other things. For example, I've used it to stream movies on my home network which it does perfectly. If one intends to buy a device that of vast capabilities, this is it. A person can play games, enjoy media, organize their week, and surf internet in a way that cannot be described by words, and with it's new A4 processor, the iPad can play HD games such as prince of persia using the original platform for the PS2. The iPad's power itself is only subdued to it's sleek and vibrant display. The iPad, well what can I say. At first looks it is something you would define tally expect from apple, slick, futuristic and 'obviously' thin! I will go through some major features of the iPad now. Apps The iPad is jampacked full of apps from games to fitness and USUALLY the apps are reasonably priced, the graphics are a good standard and depending on which app type you get varys the amount of megabytes it takes up.
