    Advantages Advantages It's an iPhone

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life is useless

    IPhone 3GS 32G When I got my iPod I was over the moon with it and still am. I never in a million years thought I’d ever get an iPhone, for a start the price of them is ridiculous to say the least, yes they may well be the best thing since sliced bread but really, the price of iPhones amazes me and what amazes me even more is that people actually fork out all that money just to get their hands on one. Now the only reason I have one is because my old phone (not a smartphone) lost the will to live, I guess I didn’t help it any by throwing it across the room because it never responded to me. So, I ... more

    Advantages Advantages A phone that holds up well today, it's an Apple iPhone!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life, screen resolution, weak camera

    I have always maintained that the Apple iPhones have always been great devices. There will be people that complain about you being a sheep if you bought one or that Apple's phone is highly restrictive with what you can do with it, but to me it is simply a fantastic demonstration of what can be done if great minds come together, forging machines that are easy to use. The iPhone is, put simply, made with style and simplicity. It is restrictive because only the nerds want to poke about with its innards and reprogram it to download porn behind everyone's backs, and it looks good so that people ... more

    Advantages Advantages Quick, Very usable, Lots of Apps, Multi-use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life, non-removable battery, cost

    I’ve finally taken the plunge and bought myself an Apple iPhone after using a Samsung Omnia i900 for around a year. I went straight for the 32GB 3GS but it’s also available with 16GB of space if you don’t think you’d need more than that. DESIGN AND BUILD The phone feels solid with a fair bit of weight to it but not too much as to hinder the usage. The size is of the phone, being a full touch screen phone, is pretty big but fits perfectly in my hand. I believe the screen is made of glass so can break quite easily if you were to drop it onto something so it's best to protect it with some sort of ... more

    5 Stars ET, iPhone? 05/07/2010

    Advantages Advantages Vast choice of features, Easy to use, General all-round brilliance?

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost! Oh, and battery length.

    The iPhone 3GS, it even has a name that makes me purr with pleasure in nothing short of quite a geeky way. That's something about the iPhone right off, it looks cool, it sounds cool, it was designed to ooze cool, yet there is something about the iPhone that seems to breathe hints of geekiness. Perhaps this comes down to people's perception of Steve Job himself (The CEO of Apple), or people's perception of Apple, or even people's perception of people who have smartphones, I'm not sure what it is, but its something I've noticed, and perhaps even agree with. The first thing about the iPhone - the ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited bluetooth, need latest software for best experience

    Following a brief romantic flirtation with the idea of the iPhone and a successful spell with Samsung's Galaxy Portal running Android 2.1 I am back on side and using the the 3GS 32Gb. At a higher capacity and running the updated iOS4 it is a powerful handset in a smartphone market saturated with great phones including it's bigger brother the iPhone 4. Perhaps some may question the relevance of the 3GS in light of the technically superior model from the parent company but this is unfair. The iPhone 4 is only available on the higher monthly tariffs and many operators seem to be favouring 24 ... more

    Advantages Advantages Nice looking, simple, good for music, just works quickly and cleanly!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lacks some of the freedom of Android.

    After numerous phones in the past few years, Nokia, Samsung, Sony-Ericsson I decided that it was finally time for me to purchase an iPhone - something I'd always considered out of my budget range. I picked it up for a reasonable price on an O2 contract about a year ago. The reason for this was I'd really been underwhelmed by my previous phones, they'd been okay but I was generally slightly unimpressed. I stepped into the Apple store in Norwich and I was sold as soon as I picked it up. The main reason for this was because of the capacitive touch screen; something which I hadn't tried before. When the iPhone first came out I was VERY anti-iPhone, I thought they were big, ugly and slow, and to be fair the first one was. Last year, I decided to get an iPod touch (3rd generation) to play games and check social networks and emails, which I will review separately at a later date, this is when my life was changed! It was only a matter of months before I decided to stop carrying around a phone and an iPod Touch, to make extra space in my handbag and 1 less thing to have to remember to carry about everyday! My daily uses for the iPhone are; making calls, text messages, multimedia messages ... more

    Advantages Advantages Upgraded sofware and Hardware, better camera

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Appearance hasn't changed, Expensive

    Apple iPhone 3GS - An iPhone Upgrade Now I’ve heard people saying “what is the point of Apple releasing an new iPhone when it looks exactly like the old one!” and to be honest they may have a point... If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it - right? Well no actually, while there may be very few external changes, inside it’s a different story. The 3GS has a larger CPU, more storage space, new internal compass and Apple have improved the optics for the new iPhone’s camera. These modifications coincide neatly with a leap forward in the iPhone’s system software, the release of the iPhone OS 3.0 – which ... more

    ~~~Apple iphone~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This phone attracted my attention because even before it was released it was considered the best phone on the market in 2008. I was reluctant to purchase this phone as I was happy with my Sony Ericson but I have to say it was the best decision I have ever made. I actually paid my phone contract off early to get a new contract with O2 as they were the first suppliers to offer the iphone. My first iphone was the iphone 3g with 8gb memory (16gb also available). ~Then came the iphone 3gs: Released one year later in 2009, the 3gs was mine instantly after I had been ... more
    Cheapest way into iPhone 3G S Ownership? If this is indeed the case then read on, the following is for YOU! We’ll look at what Contract options there are, what Pay and Go options are available and (my favourite) what’s available Off Plan.
