...the Box was the popular apple headphones. I don't really find the headphone comfortable and they tend to hurt my ear, so I never used them. The headphone can't be used as hand free as they don't have a mic, I heard that the headphones are supposed to have a mic, but I couldn't see it on mine (must be a very small mic possibly).
However, the I-phone does have an integrated mic, suggesting that you can chat on loud speaker when you are calling someone. ... ...it refers you to the apple website. The manual has pictures, to show you the set up and less words, which I thought was alright.
There was also the mains charger, USB charger, sim ejector, cleaning cloths, and the I-phone 3G itself.
Everything is tightly packages, that when it's taken out it's pretty hard to put it back.
The sim-card ejector is rather small and is used to open the simcard slot. I think this is a great idea for the reason that ...

...reviews were written, O2 and Apple have got their act together with the way in which you activate the phone.
I went to my local O2 store, paid my £99 (I had chosen to go onto a £35pm contract, see end of review for tariff info etc), and hurried home with my new prize possession!
The first thing I noticed whilst unpacking my black beauty was that there was no manual - not that I usually read them, but I do, however read the first few pages to see ... ...So, Apple were being cocky in thinking their phone was so simple, a mere blonde female such as myself could just pick it up and use it? Darn right! And, to make things even better, the phone was already charged!
Activation requires nothing more technical than loading up iTunes on your pc (and creating an account if you haven't got one already - this includes giving your debit/credit card details)and attaching the iPhone via usb to your computer ...

The Sleepbutton is also a great lil feature that is sure alot easier to handle then the lockbutton on the 2gen Ipod nano or the lockcombinations on my old cellphone. Personally I also love the slide to unlock movement :) Again moving around in the enviroment of the phone is ... ...The pushnotifcation on E-mail and SMS is also a cute feature which I guess is pretty standard, but the way this phone displays it makes it really easy to have a good overlook off the sitatution every time you enter the homescreen.

As usual I'm miles behind everyone else when it comes to technology and I've only just entered the world of mobile browsing by buying myself an iPhone. Was quite disappointed at the email feature. As I mentioned earlier, I haven't used it. The reason for this is because I use Hotmail & unfortunately, it doesn't support this. You can only use this feature on a Microsoft Exchange, mobileme, Google Mail or Yahoo Mail account. There is an Other option at the bottom, which worked temporarily using IzyMail until my free trial ... ...yearly fee.
Because of the way the texts are set out in conversations, you can't forward messages. For me personally, this hasn't really been much of a problem but I am aware that it may be for others.
As you can see, the qualities of the phone outweigh the flaws by a mile & I am seriously impressed with it. I am on an 18 month contract, which is £45 a month for 1200 minutes & 500 texts, which I am very happy with. On this tariff, the handset was ...
