Advantages: Ease of use, style, fantastic applications, camera, text format, all of it! Disadvantages: Can't send photo messages and have to pay for extra ringtones
...head over heels with the Apple iPhone 3G. I've become far too proud and a bit too obsessed, but that's because it really is an excellent phone. For what it offers personally, I am happy to forgo the few traditional phone features that are not available on the iPhone 3G. It's looks brilliant, is easy to navigate and get used to. It has useful and fun applications installed. With the touch of a button (or screen in this case), you can add any number ...

Advantages: Great Unique Product Disadvantages: Ultimately Disappointing
...mind I've always thought of Apple in this way. They just seem too nicey - nicey, a bit soft and smiley for my liking and I've always had this uneasy feeling that, just like in the Simpsons, they are hatching their evil plans of world domination.
I'd just like to clarify for Apple's lawyers that I'm not suggesting they are busy building secret nuclear weapons, but instead bolstering their dominant position in the world of portable gadgetry, through ...

I had wanted one of these for quite a while before I eventually convinced my Dad to buy me one!
Yes, it is a little pricey, but in my opinion, it is well worth it. It has it's flaws but compared to all of the phones I've ever owned, it really is outstanding.
Starting with the good stuff =)...

Advantages: Brilliant large touch screen, app store, nearly endless capabilities Disadvantages: Keyboard can be 'dodgy' at times, back is scratch prone, poor camera
The Apple iPhone 3G is Apple's 2nd iteration of their phone. It offers faster internet speeds than the previous model, and also includes the new Apple iPhone 2.0 software pre-installed, which gives you features like the Application store (app store for short).
THE DESIGN
In terms of looks and design this phone really excels. The new, smooth, glossy black finish on the back is a nice touch compared to the silver on the old iPhone. Apple have ...

I have had the Apple Iphone 3G since its UK launch date. I was really excited to get one as the launch of the standard Iphone back in November had really got me a taste for all things Apple.
There is so much to say about this device that I do not know where to begin. First of all it is much better value for money. The standard Iphone set me back £269 where as this one was free. O2 let me upgrade to it for free as well, so I cannot fault the network ...

...and wealth. Now its manufacturers Apple have unveiled the 3G model that will hit the stores on the 11th of July 2008.
What makes it so different?
Well the answer to that question is - many things :
*The iPhone is a portable telephone, internet browser, Global Positioning System (GPS), video/music player, and a 2MP camera - all of which are in one product that sits snugly in the palm of your hand. It even has Youtube and ...

This is the second iphone that i have had now after I upgraded from the "old" edge model when the 3G version came out.
The phone is brilliant for picking up and sending emails. The touch screen keyboard makes it so easy to write them. Text messaging is also a doddle - even my mother-in-law can use it!
The camera is very good although it doesn't have any zoom feature. It does also struggle in low light.
Speed of the internet via the safari ...

Advantages: small and light, offering solutions to many different problems Disadvantages: as yet, expensive, and no better reception than any other phone
The apple iPhone is great in two respects: it's a must-have, fashion wise, object, which is very sleek and stylish, and technologically, it's superb. It must be said that there a few drawbacks: the lack of a video recorder on the camera, and the difficulty you face in choosing a ringtone or alarm tone that is not one of the 20 or so already on the phone (which aren't very good). Otherwise, the ability to carry round a phone, camera, calendar, calculator, ...

...I will never know!!! Welcome Apple to the real world of Mobile Phones, but this 3g iphone isnt just a phone - its like a mini pc..
The minute you put the phone in your hand you can feel the quality, very well built with an excellent responsive touch screen,I recommend a screen cover for this phone which are widely available so as to prevent sratches. The cover does lose sensitivity, but not much and is still responsive. This phone has Wifi which ...

Advantages: GPS, 3G, New Look, App Store, Better App integration Disadvantages: Sill no camera upgrade, no video, no front camera
The iphone 3G is not much of an upgrade... the only real difference is some asthetic features and the fact you get GPS and 3G.
After using the iphone for a few weeks, i must say i love it. I was a little apprehensive at first about the whole GPS thing, but i can honestly say that is possibly the best GPS i have ever used.
And as for the 3G.... well.... its brilliant, i have also found that even when not in an EDGE or 3G connection it seems to ...

Hi, im using the first generation iphone for almost a year. im quite comfortable with the current iphone im using with
and sees no reason to purchase the 3giphone which doesnt solve the issues i encountered while using. Besides with
new 3G network that could allow a faster surf speed than edge and improvisation of new 3rd party applications, there were
still several technical issues have yet to be solved. The camera still remain as a 2mega pixel which i was hoping
that it would go up to 3 or 5mega would be better, messages couldnt be forward, no video function on the phone and
couldnt make any video calls. Yes, the back design of the 3G iphone makes it more appealing and it comes more slimmer
compared to the first generation phone, most of the features were remained the same.

Apps are the main product saver for this phone for me... they (just about) add all of the things Apple left out of the otherwise great device. It looks great too although a bit fragile I would hate to think what would happen if I dropped it!
Main drawback to the phone is battery life... very very poor indeed unless you disable everything that makes the phone worth having expect to have to charge up nightly (sometimes twice a day for me)

Bought this phone 3 days ago and haven't put it down yet.
The internet is reasonably fast and usable.
The best thing for me is the Google earth positioning system, spot on accurate and fast.
Ipod works great and sound fantastic.
Only thing is the battery runs down to quick but that could just be me using it 24/7.
If you plan to use this a lot away from home get a car charger.
Overall a brilliant phone.

Beautiful. This is an excellent machine which has everything you need on a portible device. Music, video, photos, internet, camera, and its in 3G now! I ordered mine direct from Apple, and it was slightly damaged when it arrived.. there customer service was excellent and the phone had been swapped within 2 days! I would highly reccommend this product.
