iPhone 4 - Black - 8GBWelcome to yet another review of mine, but this time it is not a review on music! Shocking, right? ~What am I reviewing?~I am going to be reviewing the iPhone 4, and I am going to talk about:Ease of useCameraApplicationsDesignamongst many other things. Now this may be a long winded review, so I am warning you in advance. My iPhone 4Before I had the iPhone 4 I had the 3G, which I should still have now but it needed fixing, so my dads friend said he would do it, that was 2 months ago and I haven't seen it since, and I really needed a phone because I am looking for a job and ... more

    4 Stars myPhone 15/05/2013

Advantages Advantages Decent camera, excellent styling, oleophonic coating, ability to link to iTunes

Disadvantages Disadvantages Far too delicate, not as good as later models

Upgrading my phone in February I wasn’t too bothered about having the latest iPhone, the 4S, and was happy with the deal I could get for an iPhone 4 8GB. I had been hanging off writing a review until I knew the phone inside out, then disaster struck….! Around 6-7 weeks ago, while happily drinking a cup of tea, my phone decided to take a swim…. I could have cried. Miracles (husbands) do work though and 2 weeks later I had my phone working again. I’ve now decided to write the review, and include our experiences of how to fix this problem (which after searching on the internet is actually more ... more

Advantages Advantages Gorgeous hardware, simple to use, functions great as an iPod

Disadvantages Disadvantages Weak hardware, poor battery life, prone to getting noticeably slower after owning for a while

Now as much as I love the iPhone series, having bought the original iPhone and the 3GS, when I first found this phone in my hands I thought it was the most beautiful piece of technology I'd ever laid eyes on. What I didn't realise, is that the iPhone 4 is also one of the most fragile pieces of technology too. On two occasions the back glass(!!!) had cracked and this for me was a clear indicator of Apple's form over function approach. While their signature style is evident in the product - smooth curves, clean colours, beautiful minimalism - the fragility of the iPhone 4 is going to leave many ... more

Advantages Advantages Amazing features and very user friendly.

Disadvantages Disadvantages How anti social it seems to make everyone.

I upgraded from my Sony Vivaz to the Apple iPhone 4 (didn't opt for the 4s as couldn't see the benefit of paying £5 a month more for what seemed to be the same phone - my cheapskate side coming out!) The phone itself is brilliant, the features are plentiful and it is very user friendly. Some of the features are almost priceless to have at times and the phone really is amazing when you consider the amount it does all in one tiny package. In my opinion a million times better than any other smart phone I have seen or used and far better than my previous Sony Vivaz (which could well have been the ... more

Advantages Advantages Speed, Display, IOS, Style

Disadvantages Disadvantages Occasional lag, extremely easy to damage

The Iphone 4 is a phone which literally caters for its user, with apps that allow you to do anything and everything all in one place and all with reasonable pace. The retina display makes the iphone 4 do a tremendous job of entertainment but the only flaws i spot in this product is the occasional unresponsiveness and lag. The phone is made out of glass and is extremely easy to damage or break. Put aside the problems that the iPhone has, it is probably the best phone I have ever owned simply because of the range of apps that it has to offer and the fact that it can do anything so quickly. I ... more

Advantages Advantages Good looking, easy to use, lots of functions

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I recently bought an iphone 4 and am very happy with it. In my opinion it is very easy to use and offers and wide range of features from the app store. I think that it is very attractive with its sleek modern design. Whilst only having it for a few months i have already dropped it an number of times and no damage has been noticed. When comparing to the new Iphone 4S, i would recommend the standard iphone 4 as the large extra charge for a better camera and the voice control function do not justify this large outlay. also, all updates in software are available to download. other mobile ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice design, good phone, Ipod, calendar and mail. Easy to handle

Disadvantages Disadvantages Have not find any

In my opinion this is one of the best phones made ever. It has everything. A good camera, easy to get access to mails and messages and calendar. And overall, the phone is stable. I have had HTC before and they were often unstable. I think that this phone is well worth the money and I can highly recommend the product. Easy access to iTunes and Appstore. Together with an app Runkeeper you can easily keep track on your running and listen to music from your iTunes. It is very good to have this combined. The Viber function is also very good. Will minimize your phone bill if you use that function ... more

Advantages Advantages Slim phone. Works fantastic. No freezing or restarting like Android phones. Dual camera/ Facetime

Disadvantages Disadvantages 8gb. Glass front and back. Takes some getting used to.

I just recently bought myself an iPhone as it just came to Sprint, but I had previously owned an Android phone that I really disliked after a while. I decided on just the 4 because I didn't feel like paying an extra 100 dollars for basically just the siri part of the phone. I do not regret this choice one bit. I've learned that with the iPhone, there is no freezing, it's easier to search for things within the phone and that the settings are easier to change. Apple has created a video communication for it's devices called Facetime and I have yet to find a problem with that. Facetime works ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, holds alot of apps, has many features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Breaks easily, battery dies quickly

The Apple iPhone 4 is easy to use and is worth the money. I use mine mainly for the apps and texting. The only problem that I've had was the battery life. Eventually I learned that to keep the battery life alive longer is to turn on auto bright, keep the light low, and close your apps! Also I suggest investing in some sort of case for your Iphone because they break easily. If your an extremely clumsy person like myself I would suggest an auto-box. The phone holds a lot of apps which is great for me because thats what I mainly use it for. The phone is slim and not to big which is great because ... more
