Advantages: Slimline, light, attractive, easy to use Disadvantages: 1Gb might not be enough for some of you
...setting and the legal documentation Apple are obliged to include. From here you can also change the length of time to keep the back light on for and arrange shuffle and repeat play settings.
SHUFFLE SONGS does exactly that...lets you choose to play the songs in any random order!
All in all, a cracking piece of equipment. In theory, the battery can last, according to Apple, up to 14 hours. I have never had it last that long. Usually around 8 at ... ...the "hold" on the top of the ipod on when not using. I have wasted so much battery by having it blaring away in my handbag without me realising.
Anyway, overall it really is great. I'd rate it 9/10 but would suggest to those of you who want to use it for photos as well, that you go for the 2 or 4gb. ...

Advantages: Slim and Just magnificent- stores music and pics..what more do you want? Disadvantages: Damn- MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A COMPUTER THAT WORKS...LMAO
...and is available for both Apple Mac and Windows.
The battery life is an incredible 14 hours which is pretty good in comparison with my previous mp3 player which lasted a mere 6 hours which is less than half of what the nano can last for. There are numerous things you can do on yuor iPOD nano whilst listening to music at the same time. Such as go through your photo collection, maybe by creating a slideshow. Or you might want to play games. You can ... ...artist of the music or even album which i find quite useful when looking for my favourite song.
Well Anyway..........here are the specs:
*SPECIFICATION*
*It weighs only 1.5 ounces which is incredibly light, especailly if you compare it to the much larger iPODS.
*Size is 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 which was only to be expected it was going to be this small.
*The Screen display is 1.5 inches and is colour screen unlike some of the previous iPODs. The picture ...

Advantages: Sleek design, trusted brand Disadvantages: Not enough capacity
...with all the latest technology, Apple have already released a newer model... -You will need to spend a bit of money with extras: you will need a cover unless you want your ipod to be scratched in a few seconds.
-Also, you can only recharge it from your computer, so if you don't take your laptop everywhere you will need to spend another £25 in an AC power adaptor.
I do like my nano, but to be honest it's something you buy with your heart and not ...

Advantages: Small, stylish and easy to use. Disadvantages: Easily scratches and sometimes freezes.
When I first purchased my Apple Ipod Nano I was blown away by how small and stylish it looked. Compared with the original Ipod this is so much more appealing. It works the same way as all the other Ipod so exsisting Ipod users will be able to pick it up and use it without need instructions. The screen has a nice resolution for displaying album art on too.
However, I found that once again this Ipod suffers from the same problems as its predecessors. ... ...I purchased a screen protector but this doesnt seemed to have helped in any way unfortunately. I have also found that on occasions the Ipod will just freeze and I need to reset it in order to carry on using it. Battery life is not great either with a full charge not giving you more than about three hours of playing time. Finally, the earphones supplied are not the best. I upgraded my earphones and noticed a big difference to sound quality. Overall ...

Advantages: It's brilliant Disadvantages: There's better around now
I used to think this was the best thing since sliced bread but now I've the new ipod nano video and it's tons better. However, the original ipod nano was a fantastic creation and shouldn't be knocked. Simple design and simple to use. I-tunes makes it easy to sort your own playlists and assign album artwork. It's unfortunate that the screen is too small to see anything properly. Also, the whole item seemed to scratch fairly easily and all the decent ... ...a problem with the new nano. The battery life didn't seem to last a particularly long time and of course there's no replacing the batteries since it's in-built but that's the same with all ipods. Sound quality is very good - came out well through the car radio too, The clickwheel is dead easy to use as is creating an 'on-the-go' playlist whilst you're out and about. Plus it looks good. ...

Originally i had the creative zen touch, but decided to upgrade to the 1GB nano as found the creative too big. But found that i was disappointed with a number of things. 1. The battery life. This does not last very long as there is a colour screen.
2. when buying the nano you do not get a charging dock or adapter with it, you have to charge the nano via a usb computer lead, which meant leaving the computer on all night just too charge it.
3. The ... ...i had it only a few hours when i already noticed smudge marks and scatches.
4. the player itself holds 240 songs. but be careful the nano only allows for about 2-3 mbs for a song. where as some songs can be upto 5-6mb.
Dont worry though. there are positives to the nano!
The nano is very thin, and slips into your pocket nicely. no bulky pockets. The click wheel on the nano also does make it easy to naviagate. There are games on the nano but do ...

...which i suppose is why Apple really have the mp3 market covered at the mintue, the earbud earphones you get with it are also nice, produce some high quality sound and seem to stay in your ears, just dont break them they're not cheap to replace!
Can fit around 240 songs on or so apple says, but id say about 200 because some songs are longer than others/higher quality. The battery life is very good and having a nice battery icon in the corner really ... ...Now we come to the disadvantages, the main disadvantage in my case has got the be that the nano is only covered in a very thin plastic coating, which marks very easily, want to keep your nano in your pocket with your keys? Think again! With just average use it gets very marked very easily, your going to want to keep it in a metal cage if you want it to be in new condition. Another disadvantage is the size, its a gift and a curse, many times have ...

Slim, stylish and fun - what more could you ask for? Definitely worth the money and an excellent gift idea. In the 3 months ive never left home without it. Beware the comedy PODCAST - laughing on the bus gets you some seriously odd looks. iTunes interface is simple to use and understand the only downside is the storage capacity and the Nano is not expandable which is a shame. Advantages: It is stylish, has many features, is cheaper compared to other iPods, and is small. Disadvantages: One cannot play videos on it, only 1 GB storage.
The compact Apple iPod nano is a chic, and handy music player that fits comfortably in your hand and almost anywhere. The music sounds better when played on an iPod and you can change the tone of the music in the EQ section in Settings to 'Pop', 'Dance', 'Rock', 'Bass Booster' and 'Bass Reducer' and more.
Other extra features that make this iPod worth buying are:
* A section for games such as Solitaire, a music quiz that tests your knowledge of ... ...bricks by shooting balls. *The iPod also has a clock with an alarm, and you can choose and set up clocks for different time zones,
*a Photos section where you can have a Photo library full of your photos,
*a calendar,
*a Contacts section to store information of those you know,
*a stopwatch, and
*a Notes section to store and view text files.
The iPod nano can be considered to be more stylish and cute compared to the normal bulky iPod. The iPod ...

I have had this iPod for about 3 years now and I have to say it's been excellent. The styling is still ultra modern and will be for another few years. The iPod fits comfortably in the hand and you can browse through songs easily. Once installed on your system, iTunes takes care of everything you need, software updates, playlists etc. You can even restore the iPod to factory settings if you want to clear it off or you have a problem with it. Well the I-Pod nano is usually prised between £80 -120 for 1gb but they can range up to £200 pound, but the more memory the ipod has the more they cost (usually).
