Advantages Advantages Does everything it needs to do whilst looking stylish at the same time

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery seems to drain quite fast

The iPod by Apple has always been the most well known brand of mp3 players, and since the first one was released in 2001, over 173,000,000 iPods have been sold worldwide. The iPod Nano is one of the many types of iPod to be released, the idea of the Nano is that it is less thick than a normal iPod but can still hold a reasonable amount of music on it. There have been four different versions released of the Nano so far, the latest one being released at the end of 2008 (known as the fourth generation Nano). This version was the first Nano to be released which is capable of storing 16GB worth of ... more

Apple iPod Nano 16GB Apple has always been the most well known brand for making brilliant mp3 players. The iPod Nano is just one of them brilliant mp3 players. The iPod Nano has 16GB of memory, which is great if you have lots of songs and videos on your computer. The Apple iPod Nano can hold up to 4,000 songs or 16 hours of video, which is excellent. The iPod Nano can also hold pictures, which can be viewed at any time. Advantages Advantages Cool design, thin, highly portable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Easy to get scratch without protection

I got this ipod in feb as a gift from my friend. It's a 16GB ipod nano in orange colour, i purchased a transparent iskin and they just look great together. Design Different from the 3rd gen, this 4th gen ipod nano has the traditional rectangle shape, like the 2nd and 1st gen, but it is much more portable and convinient to carry around. With the dimension of 38.75mm x 90.75mm x 6.08mm, you can easily put this ipod inside your jeans pockets. Instead of making the edges at two sides right-angle, Apple has decided to curve them, making the ipod look even thinner and cooler. The buttons are ... more

    Advantages Advantages good memory capacity

Disadvantages Disadvantages only that my pixels have began to die

I was bought this Ipod nano a few years back for christmas and i think it is one of my most used presents, its always on, whether it be with headphones in on the go, or on my speakers at home. The ipod came in a small plastic box, with a clear plastic lid, enabling you too see the ipod and its colour without opening the box. I have the pink ipod and the colour is very girly, suitable for anyone who loves pink as it is a very strong tone, not at all subtle. The sound quality is good but i think it really depends on which headphones or speakers you use, as to the extent of how good it really is ... more

Advantages Advantages Slim, easy to hold, and worth every penny

Disadvantages Disadvantages Clickwheel too sensitive, worth the money but still very expensive.

After years of using basic MP3 and MP4 players. I decided to finally upgrade to an Ipod Nano, I'd wanted one for a long time. And it was the best £80 I've ever spent. I seriously couldn't live without this after having it for a few months. I've never had a problem with it, only a couple of times has it not turned on. This has quite a high price point, I'm sure there are things half the price that could do a similar job. But I've had an MP4 approx the same price and you can't even compare it to the Nano. For what you get, £80 was actually a very good price. Brand New these are about £100-£120 ... more

Advantages Advantages cheaper, battery life and more memory

Disadvantages Disadvantages loads of useless features

There are a lot of new things this ipod has to offer, and a lot that I also think are pretty pointless too. However it certainly is the cheapest ipod nano on sale at the moment coming in at only £110 for an 8gb one whereas the previous nanos were around £140 for the same amount of memory. At first glance it looks like apple have gone back to the 1st generation design which im quite happy with as I did prefer this shape to the more square generation 2 with the tiny click wheel. However something which I still haven't worked out if I like or not yet is its rounded body, I suppose it does make it ... more

Advantages Advantages Looks cool, good sound quality, easy to use and range of features.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Low volume, breaks really easy and overpriced.

I've had my Nano for about 6 months now, and in that time. It's broken about 4 times, last night it was almost broken beyond repair, fortunately I fixed it. But then it broke again, which I then fixed again! I use this Nano, everyday. It's useful, and it holds quite a bit, but go to another negative. For something worth £150, I'd expect not to fill it up in 2000 songs. It plays videos, music, games and a few other things that could be useful. It is the best thing I've ever bought, granted. I paid £80 for mine, and it's really not that bad. The battery life is okay, it isn't 24 hours like Apple ... more

Advantages Advantages Small, lots of memory, great battery life

Disadvantages Disadvantages Long winded online instruction book

I've never owned an MP3 player before, in fact, I've been dreading buying one for a good few years because I thought they'd be so complicated to use. A few weeks ago, I finally decided I'd get with the times and buy one. Not having a clue about MP3 players, I took the store assistants advice and bought this. It's got 16GB of memory and can hold up to 4000 songs, at the moment I've got about 35 albums on it and I haven't even used one thenth of it's memory. It's so easy to download and transfer from my own CD collection it's unbelieveable. You simply put your CD into your computer, it'll ask if ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages CANNOT ADJUST VOLUME LEVEL!!!

What a complete disappointment!!! Had a bog standard Mp3 player that did the job and was alot cheaper. At LEAST I COULD ADJUST THE VOLUME TO A LEVEL THAT I REQUIRED ON IT!!!!! Not only that when you connect your new Ipod to your computer you have to download ITunes software to your PC by ENTERING PRIVATE INFORMATION AND A VISA / MASTERCARD/ DEBIT CARD to activate the product!! YOU CAN'T WITH OUT!! Lots of hype for a piece of crap!! I would not recommend the product even if it was only £5. No support (oh yes you have alook on the apple web site and see how long it takes - none) and the cheek of ... more
