The great popularity that apple iPod Nanoes enjoy is largely because of its beauty, impeccable technology and out of the world features. No wonder it has already sold more than 100 million units. This is till the arrival of the 16GB Apple iPod Nano 5G that has added features that most of us have been eagerly waiting for. The FM radio and the video recording features and add to that voice recording capability. Where does the popularity go up? Well it’s any body’s guess. I have always been apprehensive about iPods because of its inability to deliver quality reproduction especially audio ... more

Advantages Advantages Large Variety of Features, Easy to Use, Need to Purchase Extras

Disadvantages Disadvantages High Price, Poor Video Recording Quality

Introduction I was bought the iPod Nano 5th Generation a few weeks ago as a present for finishing my GCSEs. I already have an iPod Touch but I wanted something a little more portable. The Apple App Store has revolutionised the iPod Touch, the iPhone and the iPad and so many were left wondering why Apple continued to manufacture iPod Nano’s; which cannot run the Apps from the App Store. Especially considering that the price is roughly the same and the memory is the same as an iPod Touch. I can honestly say that I’m glad that Apple has continued to make iPod Nano’s as they provide great ... more

Advantages Advantages Price is great, Fabulous new features, same great shape.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Still at a max of 16GB, and thats my only qualm.

OK, I'm a Nano addict. My obsession started with a 2GB nano 2nd generation, and has really just progressed from there. Now I hold in my hand the new 5th generation Nano, 16GB, in purple, and engraved on the back with the words "Please Steal My Phone Instead", as a plea to any potential muggers out there, because no other gadget I have really comes close to this. So lets take a look at whats new: The Body I thought the finish on the 4th gen model was as good as it gets, but this new look is sleeker, shinier, and apparently even more durable. The size and shape of the iPod is exactly the same as ... more

Advantages Advantages Very East To Use And Lots Of Features

Disadvantages Disadvantages You Cant Take Pictures With The Built In Camera

I have had my iPod Nano for some time now and I can honestly say it is one great little MP3 player. When I purchased my iPod it cost me £132 which is pretty good for what you get. The most noticeable change with this iPod Nano in comparison which the earlier versions is the built in camera. I personally don’t use the camera very much but the video quality is very good. The only bad thing I have to say about the built in camera is that you can’t take any pictures. With the iPod Nano trying to find different songs is very easy as you can search in so many ways. You can search by artist, genre ... more

Advantages Advantages Great new features, pedometer, speaker and the coveted Video Recorder!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Average-to-poor quality headphones. Again.

Ididdoo says: Jump to the section you most need information on, or go for the full hog! Enjoy! INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW NANO Could the ipod nano be the under appreciated jewel in the 'i' range of products from Apple? Sure, the imac was first, the iphone got people going crazy, and the ipad is probably Bill Murray's new number one Christmas boutique gift item. Ghostbusters in-jokes aside, seriously, how important is the ipod for how many? Think how often you use your ipod, and imagine how life would be without it... Well, now imagine it taking over your life! Because the new ipod nano (5G) has ... more

Advantages Advantages Best mp3 on market by far!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Rubbish Headphones included

Okay, so i thought there wasnt much more that apple could do to improve the nano; how i was wrong. The new nano has some major changes incorporated into the new model : fm transmitter, pedometer and camera as well as the voiceover technology that has recently appeared on the new shuffles. The new incorporated camera is great for shooting video. It does so recording onto VGA and the itunes will automatically keep 200mb of space free to shoot some video. The camera is placed on the bottom left opposite side to the front of the unit, and is a smallish lens. There are also 16 modes which can be ... more

Advantages Advantages Aesthetically impressive, Powerful, Good quality camera, Excellent sound quality, Many features

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Scratches Easily

First off, I was very excited upon receiving this iPod Nano at christmas, it was the first iPod I ever owned. I had experience with other iPod's, and I must say this one has many improvements to them. Let me start with the camera quality, and might I say it is outstanding for such a small piece of kit. It has many different filming effects (Film grain, Solarize, Cyber-vision etc...), and you can pretty much video and 'vlog' anywhere now at an acceptable quality without carrying around a video cameras. It's not HD, it's around a resolution of 640 x 480, which is great for video-sharing websites ... more

Advantages Advantages Battery Life, Video Camera, Pedometer, Radio with Live Pause

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sometimes it would accidentally shuffle, The Pedometer doesn't always record your steps.

I believe that the iPod Nano 5th Generation with the Camera and FM Radio is a very nice mp3 and mp4 player. I do like the Battery life and the camera is very quickly accessible for those moments you can't miss. Although it is a video and not a picture camera, it is still a very nice device to have. I did not like the internal speaker because [1.] it wasn't loud enough, and [2.] It was Horrible quality. But it worked and that's all that mattered to me. The Radio is easy to use and customize(Set Stations) and the signal was weak at times, but it also depends on the headphones you buy that will ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent sound quality, fairly attractive design.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very poor video quality, clicker wheel tends to get stuck, Apple software is very annoying.

Having broken my very long lasting, sturdy 5th Gen (or something, can't quite remember) iPod Video, I decided to buy a new iPod. Personally, I'm getting quite sick of all the new updates, and constant obsoletion of software by Apple. That aside, I bought a new 16GB iPod Nano, in blue. When I came to put music on it, I was mildly irritated with the Apple software: I downloaded the newest version, and then it decided not to work, forcing me to spend another hour trying to install it. I was quite impressed with the new 'Genius' feature at first, only to be annoyed on discovering you have to use ... more
