Welcome To The Wonderful World Of Apple MP3 - that one little word that has changed an entire generations ways and means of listening to music. Whether you’re 8 or 80 it’s more than likely that you would have come across this word on more than one occasion, because, lets face it, music is all around us. It’s fair to say that Apple have capitalised on the success of the MP3 more than any other company, with their endless range of iPods, downloading software and now even iPhones which incorporate that trusty little iPod in it. There seem to be two types of people in the this world at present ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Seems dated

This is a review of an old product. Its not actually that old - just over 4 years old, but in Apple terms (and generally in tech terms) its a relic. Its as old as my cat. If my cat were a dog she would be 28. If my cat were an 3G iPod Nano she would be in her 40s. I have no proof, but I'm reasonably sure 1 human year is the equivalent 10 Apple years. Thats the way of Apple, they make great products that really do last - but keep feeding the market with updated versions. I've had an iMac once that was about 8 years old, and it worked great. Then, once I saw the model in a museum. Actually in a ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can Be A Little Difficult To Use On iTunes

I received one of these fantastic gadgets as a gift not too long ago. My friends and I share our music taste together with their iPod's and my iPod Nano!. I never thought i would have one of these as i thought they were a little expensive , but they are most certainly worth the bargain!!! This is most definitely one of the most favourite gifts i have received in a long time as i am so pleased about all the features of my iPod Nano and the way i can download all of my favourite songs upon this big brained mp3 player from Apple.inc!!! Before you buy this great pocket sized gadget , you may want ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages iTUNES what a nightmare

Introduction- Love them or hate them Ipods are an integral part of our lives and there are few people that dont own one or at the very least know someone who has one.Everyday seems to bring a new addition to the range with more features more memory and smaller size, but also more horror stories of ipods crashing, freezing and losing hundreds of their owners treasured song collections.Reliability has been a major problem for the Ipod and you don't have to look far for blogs and forums full of peoples experiences both good and bad.Having recently updated my old ipod shuffle i have decided to do a ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good features

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Price

Despite the fact that so many people complain that ipods don't have a long life and stop working within a year or so, I decided to get myself one as a Christmas present. I love my music and I just found so annoying having to carry around my battered CD player and only being able to have a small selection of CDs with me. Let me tell you all the pros and cons I found about this gadget. FEATURES ********** This particular item has a 8GB space which equals to the storage of 2000 songs or 7000 pictures or 8 hours of video. What differs this 3rd generation model from its predecessors is first of all ... more

Advantages Advantages It's tiny, Apple sexiness, easy to use, clear screen and interface.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Relies on net access too much, can work out expensive for Apple accessories

For the past year I've had a dilemma. It's all revolved around the iPod. Basically my mobile phone doubles as an MP3 player and a video player as well as the standard mobile phone functions. The dilemma I had was whether I could actually justify an iPod video. Why fix something that wasn't broken? Anyway, for Xmas, Buggy bought me an iPod Nano (mainly to stop me hanging around the tech department of Asda for 30 mins everytime we went debating the pros and cons of such a purchase). Well that\'s my dilemma solved, but are they any good. As usual, the nano looks very sexy. Decked out with a matte ... more

Advantages Advantages Great sound, Looks great

Disadvantages Disadvantages Rather costly for the small amount of space

Looks This Ipod is very stylish, I love the baby blue colour of it. Its small and sleek which can only be a good thing. The stainless steel back also adds to the looks but unfortunately it does scratch easily so care must be taken not to scratch it. Just like a lot of ipods, it has the scroll wheel which is unique to the Ipod and just adds to the looks. The display is much better than the older ipod nano with it being bigger and brighter which is useful when outside in the sun, however it can still be much brighter as it's still a little difficult to see in the sun. The software on the ipod is ... more

Advantages Advantages Lots of storage, good sound, new features, video playback

Disadvantages Disadvantages all 2nd gen stuff wont fit, not different enough to warrant purchase

Well I guess the people at Apple must have been stumped as to what to do this year. So to make sure they have a \"new\" product in the market they took the existing Ipod Nano, squashed it, rounded it and sent it on its merry way to the shops, just in time for the Christmas rush. Yes, I was not in desperate need for a new Ipod. My 2nd Generation 4Gb Nano has done me well, if a little scratched on the casing from being stuck in my pocket with coins and keys. However, when I was offered a new one with twice the storage capacity, I would have been a fool to turn it down. Looks/feel, Shorter ... more

    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Small and light, good sound and video quality.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quiet alarm and perhaps too thin

This is the second iPod ive owned - I broke the last one, and it was my fault. So I've bought this newer version and I have to say it is brilliant. It is amazingly small and light for what it does - just 6.5mm thick, making it very easy to carry around without it becoming a nuisance. It also makes it easy to fit in your pocket without it looking ridiculous bulging out like the first mp3 players did. However, it is so thin there could possibly be a risk of it snapping easily if it was put under any kind of strain - if it got accidentally stood on or something. This hasnt happened to me, but it ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice menu system, good sound quality & EQ

Disadvantages Disadvantages Overpriced, no card slot, no radio, earphones, itunes

The best things come in small packages; or so they say. I have for a long time avoided Apple products as their ethos seems to focus more on design and compaction rather than functionality or providing a good deal for consumers. So what's good about this player? Well the display is very clear and bright. The device itself is small and very light. The menu system is quite intuitive and easy to cycle through and I particularly like the way the menu system makes use of multimedia transition effects as it moves from one menu to the next. Also in the settings there's a graphic equaliser with a ... more
